The Mall Lifestore Celebrates Womanhood with Floral Showcase
The Mall Lifestore Bangkae invites the public to experience the enchanting beauty of flowers and the essence of womanhood at The Mall Lifestore Women Inspired: A Wonder of Inspiration, from 7–12 August 2025 at M Grand Hall and M Fashion Hall, G Floor. The event celebrates women's beauty and spirit, symbolised through the delicacy and grace of flowers, inspiring positivity and creativity. Highlights include a spectacular floral peacock sculpture and a series of activities designed to empower women to dream, think, act, and embrace their authentic selves. In celebration of Thailand's National Mother's Day, the heart of the mall will be transformed into a 'Floral Garden' featuring over 100 species and more than one million blooms. The centrepiece is an 8-metre-tall floral peacock sculpture equivalent to a three-storey building created by emerging fantasy still-life illustrator Alanlert (Art–Natthadee Chotiraveethanasiri). Symbolising grace, love, happiness, and prosperity, the peacock is surrounded by eight giant floral sculptures, each representing feminine virtues: Camellia (elegant, confident love), Edelweiss (pure, resilient love), Lily (gentleness and new beginnings), Torch Ginger (strength and deep affection), Sakura (tenderness and hope), Carnation (blossoming love and loyalty), Orchid (sophistication and self-worth), and Hydrangea (complex yet sincere emotions). Together, they create an Instagram-worthy paradise for content creators. The grand opening on 7 August will feature She, A Wonder of Inspiration, an exclusive Thai fabric fashion show presented by Miss Thailand 2025 contestants. The show will debut THE BLOOMING WITHIN, a special collection by acclaimed Thai fashion brand SUPA EAST GLAMOR, internationally recognised in London, Paris, and Milan for its elegant Thai textiles. Inspired by exquisite handwoven floral-patterned fabrics from across Thailand including Pateh, Lamphun brocade silk, Lai Yang pattern, and Mudmee silk the collection will be led by Thai celebrity Sririta Jensen Narongdej and other distinguished guests. On 8 August, visitors can join an inspiring Meet & Greet with top Thai actresses Lingling Sirilak Kwong and Orm Kornnaphat Sethratanaphong, as part of the BANGKOK BANK M VISA Lucky Fan activity. The event also features WOMEN INSPIRED TALKS with influential mother–daughter duos such as Thapanee and Khaohom Kiattipiboon, Lukkade Metinee and Sky Kingpoyom Sharperl, Boom Panadda and Andaman Wongphudi, and Alanlert with his mother, sharing stories of maternal support and personal growth. Guests can enjoy live music by the female duo Lan Dok Mai and cheer for the finalists of the Next G & Mrs. Global – From Her to Her contest, hosted by TPN GLOBAL. Experience the magic of Tanabata festival at The Mall Lifestore
The vibrant Tanabata festival of Japan is being celebrated in Thailand for the first time during The Mall Japan Discovery 2025, which is running at M Grand Hall of The Mall Lifestore Bangkapi, Lat Phrao Road, until Sunday. Held under the theme "The Charm Of Sendai's Summer", the event features a spectacular replica of Sendai city and Tanabata streamers -- vibrant, decorative strips of washi paper that are a key feature of the summer festival. Visitors can try on traditional yukata; ride the jinrikisha (Japanese rickshaw); meet Musubimaru, Sendai's rice-ball mascot and cultural ambassador; and indulge in over 100 summer dishes flown in from Japan. Highlights include Sendai wagyu, premium beef fed with top quality rice stalks and pure water; gyutan or grilled beef tongue; Kiyo Ken steamed buns with savoury pork and sweet red bean-sesame fillings; and Aichi miso oden. Other sweet delights include Kikufuku or daifuku filled with sweet edamame cream made from Hokkaido milk; Shunda butter bread filled with fragrant sweet edamame; Shiroyama kakigori or gelato-style shaved ice topped with signature mousse; and panna cotta with Shonan Gold orange. Also available are white peaches and premium-grade seedless Shine Muscat grapes originally from Okayama.
