'Tujhe dekh loonga': 'MLA' car with BJP flag triggers traffic jam in Agra; youth sitting inside threatens cop
AGRA: A dramatic scene unfolded at Kotwali Chauraha when a vehicle bearing an 'MLA' plate (registration UP-81-BY-2324) abruptly stopped on the highway, triggering a traffic jam.
The incident occurred around 1:30 pm on Monday.
According to witnesses, a traffic constable, noticing the obstruction, politely asked the driver to move the car aside.
However, instead of complying, a young man seated inside—accompanied by a gunner—stepped out and berated the constable. The vehicle also sported a BJP flag.
The youth allegedly claimed to be the son of a legislator and threatened the officer, saying, 'Tujhe dekh loonga' ('I'll deal with you').
The heated exchange drew a crowd of onlookers and worsened the congestion at the busy crossing.
Eyewitnesses said the constable made repeated attempts to defuse the situation, but the man refused to budge.
After several minutes of argument, the MLA-marked car finally left for Hathras, restoring traffic flow.
Local authorities have not confirmed the identity of the youth or whether any official complaint has been filed in the matter.
