Nashville police take driver into custody after he evades them twice
Nashville police arrested a man who evaded officers twice during a Street Racer Initiative on Saturday night.

A Dodge Charger, driven by 27-year-old Frank Eduardo Reyes-Borrayo, was seen driving at a high rate of speed on Nolensville Pike at Harding Place when officers attempted an initial traffic stop, police said.
The vehicle fled and was followed by MNPD Aviation to Edmondson Pike near Old Hickory Boulevard.
Officers then initiated a second traffic stop.
Police say the driver failed to yield a second time, traveling at 100 miles per hour and passing other vehicles in center turn lanes to evade officers.
Police successfully took the driver into custody after he backed the vehicle into a parking space in the 2500 block of Murfreesboro Pike.
According to a release, a semi-automatic pistol was recovered from the driver's side door.
Reyes-Borrayo is not a U.S. citizen and cannot lawfully possess a firearm, police said.
He faces several charges including felony reckless endangerment, not having a driver's license, unlawful possession of a firearm and two counts of evading arrest.
He remains in jail on a $27,000 bond.
