20-year-old dies in side-by-side accident in Shannon County
SHANNON COUNTY, Mo. — A side-by-side vehicle crashed near Winona, Missouri, on Saturday, May 3, killing a 20-year-old man from De Soto and injuring three others. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, at around 6 p.m., a 2023 Can-Am Side by Side carrying four people was traveling west on County Road 514, six miles northeast of Winona. The side-by-side then slid off the left side of the road and overturned, ejecting the 20-year-old passenger. Woman hospitalized after being shot in Lebanon The crash report says the 20-year-old was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield by aircraft, and he was pronounced dead at the hospital Sunday morning. The driver and two other passengers in the vehicle received minor injuries and turned down medical assistance. The victim's next of kin has been notified of his passing. Winona woman killed in two-car crash in Texas County
TEXAS COUNTY, Mo. — A 78-year-old woman from Winona, Missouri, is dead after a crash between two cars in Texas County Tuesday afternoon. According to the crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred on State Highway 17 at around 2:40 p.m., seven miles north of Mountain View. A northbound 2013 Mazda2 was turning left when it crossed the path of a southbound 2020 GMC Yukon, where the Yukon struck the Mazda. Ozark County couple charged in shooting report The driver of the Mazda was pronounced dead at the scene by the Texas County Coroner. The driver of the Yukon received minor injuries and was taken to the Mercy St. Francis Hospital in Mountain View. This is the 10th fatal crash for MSHP Troop G in 2025. Mansfield motorcyclist dies after crash at dead-end road
WRIGHT COUNTY, Mo. — A man from Mansfield was killed after his motorcycle drove through a dead-end and crashed. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred four miles west of Mansfield at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 13. The MSHP crash report states that a 53-year-old man was driving a 2015 Harley-Davidson Sportster 48 motorcycle west on Lucky Road when the bike traveled off the end of a dead-end road. The motorcycle then hit an embankment and overturned. Webster County solar company faces lawsuit from Missouri Attorney General The man was pronounced dead the next morning by the Wright County Coroner. The next of kin have been notified of his passing. Multiple cattle killed after tractor-trailer accident near Mansfield
WRIGHT COUNTY, Mo. — A tractor-trailer overturned on eastbound US Highway 60 east of Mansfield Friday night, resulting in the death of multiple cattle, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop G. In a post on X, MSHP Troop G says the tractor-trailer crash caused some of the cattle to get loose, and accidents involving some vehicles crashing into the escaped cattle on the highway. Traffic impacted by heavy rains, flash flooding in Springfield One Springfield driver suffered moderate injuries after his 2021 Chrysler Voyager collided with a cow on westbound US 60 just before 10:30 p.m. Friday, according to an MSHP crash report. The driver was taken by ambulance to Cox South in Springfield for his injuries. Gainesville man dies after truck crashes into several trees off roadway
OZARK COUNTY, Mo. — A 36-year-old man from Gainesville has died after his truck struck several times after traveling off the highway just before 11 p.m. Saturday. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the man was eastbound in a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado pickup on US-160 half a mile east of Gainesville when the truck ran off the roadway. The pickup then crashed into several trees and overturned, the crash report states.
