Multiple cattle killed after tractor-trailer accident near Mansfield
WRIGHT COUNTY, Mo. — A tractor-trailer overturned on eastbound US Highway 60 east of Mansfield Friday night, resulting in the death of multiple cattle, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop G.
In a post on X, MSHP Troop G says the tractor-trailer crash caused some of the cattle to get loose, and accidents involving some vehicles crashing into the escaped cattle on the highway.
Traffic impacted by heavy rains, flash flooding in Springfield
One Springfield driver suffered moderate injuries after his 2021 Chrysler Voyager collided with a cow on westbound US 60 just before 10:30 p.m. Friday, according to an MSHP crash report. The driver was taken by ambulance to Cox South in Springfield for his injuries.
The Wright County Sheriff's Office says westbound and eastbound US 60 near Lead Hill Drive were temporarily closed due to the accident.

Accidents: Accident damages three parked vehicles
Jun. 4—No citations were issued Monday in a domino-effect accident involving four vehicles in Creston. According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 9:49 p.m. a 2008 Pontiac G6, driven by Jason A. Lohoff, 52, of Creston, was southbound on Elm Street when Lohoff says three people ran into the street and caused him to swerve. As Lohoff swerved, the Pontiac clipped the driver's side mirror of a 2021 Cadillac CT4, then struck a 2013 BMW 328XI, both legally parked on the west side of the street. The BMW was pushed forward causing it to hit a 2022 Hyundai Kona, parked in front of it. Damage to the Pontiac was estimated at $1,500; damage to the Cadillac was estimated at $300; damage to the BMW was estimated at $1,500 and damage to the Hyundai was estimated at $400. — — — — — No injuries were reported in a single-vehicle accident Tuesday in the Iowa State Savings Bank parking lot off of Taylor Street in Creston. According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 11:17 a.m. a 2023 Chrysler Voyager, driven by Ashely M. Hysell, 38, of Corydon, was exiting the parking lot when Hysell realized she had forgotten something. Hysell put the van in reverse and began backing up through the lot and struck a concrete pole. Damage to the Chrysler was estimated at $2,500. No damage was caused to the pole.

Shannon County car crash claims life of 2-year-old girl
SHANNON COUNTY, Mo. — A 2-year-old died following a car crash in Shannon County on Tuesday evening, June 3. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) crash report, the crash occurred when a 37-year-old woman was driving east in a 2017 Chevrolet Suburban around 5:53 p.m. on private property near Eminence when a 2-year-old girl ran into the path of the vehicle. Raytown man killed in Saturday afternoon crash: MSHP
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Troopers are investigating after a 56-year-old Raytown man was killed in a rollover crash Saturday afternoon. According to a , just after 3 p.m., officers with the Raytown Police Department and troopers with MSHP were dispatched to the area of 53rd Street and Maywood Avenue on reports of a crash.
