SANDAKAN: Vision School Sandakan's archery team were a blazing success at the MSS Sabah Archery Championships held in Lahad Datu, recently. Contributing a formidable 27 medals to the Sandakan contingent's tally, these young archers proved that precision, perseverance and passion make for an unbeatable combination.
Advertisement The Vision School archers' medal haul was 6 golds, 10 silvers and 11 bronzes. The medals came across three demanding categories: Recurve, Compound and Barebow—highlighting the team's versatile excellence. Vision School's archers include Dexter Tsang (U-18 Boys Recurve), Caden Yeo (U-15 Boys Recurve), Nicholas Yeo (U-15 Boys Recurve), Caleigh Chong (U-12 Girls Recurve), Zachariah Lai (U-12 Boys Recurve), Joshua Chong (Open Men Compound), Crystal Yong (Open Women Compound) and Bryan Hiew (Open Men Barebow). Among the team's many triumphs, special kudos go to Caleigh Chong who, alongside fellow Sandakan archer Eunice Hing, has earned a coveted spot representing Sabah at the prestigious MSSM national-level competition.
