Rotary Club of Nagpur Vision Installs Interact Club At School of Scholars, Atrey Layout
1 2 Nagpur: The Rotary Club of Nagpur Vision (RCNV) installed a new Interact Club at School of Scholars, Atrey Layout, marking a significant step in nurturing young leadership. The ceremony began with the lighting of the diya and prayers to Maa Saraswati. Principal Shilpa Newaskar lauded Rotary's spirit of service and compassion. Past president Akshata Deshmukh presented her report, highlighting projects like tree plantation and eco-brick pathways. President Sagarika Lakhe and her team were formally installed, with Sagarika stressing the importance of action, innovation, and responsibility. RCNV firector youth Amit Jeswani and president Dr Rashmi Shahu encouraged the young leaders to serve with purpose and vision. Interact Club secretary Isha Wanjari proposed a vote of thanks, followed by the Vande Mataram chant. The ceremony concluded with a tree plantation drive led by the new team. PP Jatin Sampat, PP Ajay Uplanchiwar, Shilpa Kelkar, Swati Belkhede, and Rahul Arya from Team Youth graced the event.

State's first SSB training centre will upskill cadets: Guv
Raipur: Governor Ramen Deka inaugurated a new Services Selection Board (SSB) Training Centre at Sainik School Ambikapur on Friday. This is Chhattisgarh's only SSB Training Centre and aims to prepare cadets for careers in the Armed Forces. The Centre will provide cadets with the necessary skills and training for the SSB selection process. The governor also inaugurated an idol of Maa Saraswati, the Goddess of Knowledge and Wisdom, at the school's Vikram Batra Block. Deka is the second governor to visit the Sainik School, following former governor Shekhar Dutt (Sena Medal). He was welcomed by the principal, Colonel Reema Sobti, upon his arrival at the school, and a Guard of Honour was presented by the cadets. He honoured school officers and staff members for their service, including Lt Col (Dr) P Sreenivas, Sqn Ldr James Nair, and mathematics teacher T. Malleshwar Rao.
