Sai Pallavi pens a heartfelt note after Ramayana announcement: 'With the blessings of Maa Sita…'

The much-expected announcement for Nitesh Tiwari 's 'Ramayana' has finally dropped, and while the visuals featuring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram and Yash as Ravana have taken the internet by storm, it was actress Sai Pallavi 's emotional note that added a spiritual depth to the moment. Cast as Maa Sita, Sai Pallavi shared her feelings of gratitude and reverence for the role through social media. 'With the Blessings of Maa Sita…' Following the release of the teaser, Sai Pallavi shared a heartfelt message on her social media account, writing, 'With the blessings of Maa Sita, I get to experience her journey, along with pioneers picked by the divine to recreate the epic! With a cast and crew like this, I pray that you all experience the wonder that we're working towards achieving.' Her words were felt deeply by the fans and many of whom praised her modesty with spiritual approach to the role. Fans react: Love, Disappointment, and Anticipation While Sai Pallavi's note on social media was widely appreciated, some fans also expressed disappointment of her not getting featured in the teaser. One fan commented, 'Sai Pallavi garu, I just had a thought while watching #Ramayana glimpses—I truly wish they had added even one clip of you as Sita. It would've been magical.' Another wrote, 'Expected to see @Sai_Pallavi92 in the teaser! Disappointed. There is a large audience just for #SaiPallavi alone! The makers should have included your portions! You are a fantastic actress. ' Despite the absence, many fans rallied behind her, calling her casting a 'masterstroke' and expressing excitement for her portrayal. A mythological epic in the making Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, 'Ramayana' is being named as one of the most ambitious Indian films to date. The teaser came out with the tagline 'Our truth. Our History' showcases a visually rich world set 5,000 years ago. Sai Pallavi also shared the teaser with the caption: '🙏🏻❤️ Truly Blessed! #Ramayana #Sita' The film is slated for a two-part release—Diwali 2026 and Diwali 2027—and features music by A.R. Rahman and Hans Zimmer, with VFX by Oscar-winning studio DNEG.
