Seth Meyers Uses Donald Trump's Own Words For ‘Mad Libs' Spoof
Seth Meyers on Thursday joked about Donald Trump playing 'a real-time version of Mad Libs' with one part of his 'glowing' review of Elon Musk's bid to slash government spending. Trump this week boasted about billionaire Musk doing 'a great job.' At one point, the president praised Musk over 'the whole thing with, uh, 100 million spent on you-know-what.' 'No,' said Meyers, shaking his head. 'I don't know what. Do you?' 'Why do we have to fill in the missing details in the president's sentences?' he asked. 'This is like when my wife's looking out the window and she says, 'Oh, my God.' And I'm like, 'What?' And she says, 'I just can't believe this.' And I'm like, 'What's going on?' And she's like, 'This is unreal!' And then I finally have to get up and go look, and it's just like, you know, the mailman's wearing shorts.' 'I feel like we're playing a real-time version of Mad Libs,' he cracked, before airing a spoof bit of Trump doing just that.
