Launch of the Bus Rapid Transit Route Between Amman and Madaba - Jordan News
The Mayor of Greater Amman, Dr. Yousef Al-Shawarbeh, sponsored the launch and operation ceremony of the new Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Route 105 between Amman and Madaba. اضافة اعلان Eight modern buses have been deployed along this route, which starts in front of Prince Hamzah bin Al-Hussein Hospital in the Tareq area and ends at Madaba Secondary School for Boys. The service follows a fixed schedule with 34 trips per day. Buses depart from Madaba at 6:00 AM, and from Amman at 7:00 AM, with service continuing until 8:00 PM in both directions. A bus will operate every 30 minutes from each direction, maintaining a consistent frequency throughout the day. The BRT route includes stops through the following areas: Tareq, North Terminal (Mujamma' Al-Shamal), Sports City Circle, Wadi Saqra traffic lights, Princess Basma Street, Abdoun Corridor, Airport Road, Al-Zaytoonah University, Madaba Bridge, Al-Andalusiyya, King's Academy, Circle of Love (Dawar Al-Mahabba), and the Islamic Bank in Madaba. It's worth noting that within Amman, buses will operate exclusively on the dedicated BRT lanes, avoiding regular traffic, while on Airport Road they will use the service lanes.

Ammon News - The Greater Amman Municipality has launched the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Line (105) connecting Amman and Madaba, starting Tuesday. According to a statement from the Municipality, eight modern buses are now operating on this route, which runs from Prince Hamza Hospital in the Tariq area to Madaba Secondary School for Boys. The service follows a regular schedule with 34 trips daily. The buses depart from Madaba at 6:00 AM and from Amman at 7:00 AM, with service continuing until 8:00 PM in both directions. A bus will depart every 30 minutes from each direction. The BRT route includes key areas such as Tariq, the North Bus Station, Al Madinah Al Riyadiah(Sport City) Circle, Wadi Saqra Junction, Princess Basma Street, Abdoun Corridor, Airport Road, Al-Zaytouna University, Madaba Bridge, Andalusia, Kings Academy, Al-Mahaba Circle, and the Islamic Bank in Madaba. The buses will operate on the designated "BRT" lanes within Amman, avoiding regular roads and taking the service road along the airport road for a faster and more efficient journey. Petra
