Mona Singh joined the cast of Made In Heaven in the second season but won hearts with her terrific performance as Bulbul Jauhari – a character crafted with utmost care. She was strong yet flexible, compassionate yet far from naïve. Bulbul embodied the truth that the most unforgettable women on screen are those who carry both their scars and their hope with pride.
In an interview, Mona spoke candidly about her character, revealing why playing Bulbul was such an enriching experience for her. She explained, 'She is not bitter about life. She's a survivor; she's gone through her own trauma, a bad marriage, and domestic abuse. But instead of letting it define her, she chose to stay positive."
'She chose to rise to the occasion, combat misogyny, and help other women. That speaks volumes about her character. And I loved playing Bulbul," Mona added, highlighting the strength that added depth to her role.
