10-year-old boy dead after being hit by truck in Columbiana County
MADISON TWP., Ohio (WKBN) — A 10-year-old boy died after being hit by a pickup truck in Madison Township on Saturday, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
OSHP said the boy was riding his bike when he was hit and killed around 5:45 p.m. on State Route 7 about a half a mile south of Beaver Local High School.
Columbiana County Sheriff's Office, St. Clair Township Police and OSHP responded, and West Point Fire Department was on scene with an ambulance. The boy was taken to a local hospital.
OSHP is investigating the fatal accident.
