Jackson Wang's ‘Magicman 2' tour kicks off in Bangkok
Another announcement from Jackson Wang has landed, this time not as a surprise Instagram live at two in the morning, but with the deliberate flourish of a tour poster. Magicman 2 is happening and Bangkok is on the map. Two nights of it, in fact. October 3-4, a double bill that feels less like a concert and more like an endurance test for anyone who thought they'd moved on from the chaos of last time. Back then – last November, for those keeping count – his Bangkok show was less a performance than a fever dream. A packed crowd stood shoulder-to-sequined-shoulder,, many in work shirts they hadn't bothered to change out of. He danced until his hair stuck to his forehead, he talked about home, he pulled fans on stage and told them to sing with him. By the time he finished there were people weeping in the car park like they'd been spat out of another dimension. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Jackson Wang (@jacksonwang852g7) Now, with a handful of Asian cities joining the list, the second wave is looking just as exhausting, just as gleeful. There are no ticket prices yet, no venue, only a promise. The kind of announcement that is less a schedule and more an invitation to clear your October. Here are the cities and dates so far: Macao, October 11-12 Jakarta, October 18 Kuala Lumpur, October 25 Manila, October 2 Tokyo, November 6 Five stops in addition to Bangkok, each one guaranteed to be chaotic in its own particular way. Fans have already begun combing flight schedules, hotels, the fine print of their annual leave. For now, the only certainty comes from the organiser's Facebook page, iMe TH, where the update appeared without ceremony. No cryptic clues, just a list of cities and dates that have already started to live rent free in the heads of anyone who went through the last one. October is closer than it looks. There is still time to rest, to plan, to practise screaming without losing your voice. After that, it's back to the fever dream.

Jackson Wang to bring magic to Malaysia
JACKSON Wang will be performing in Kuala Lumpur on October 25 as part of his newly announced Magicman 2 World Tour 2025-2026 - his second solo headlining tour. Wang will kick off his tour in Bangkok and make appearances in cities across region, including Macau, Jakarta, Manila and Tokyo. The announcement follows the release of Jackson's latest album, Magicman 2, which made a historic debut at #13 on the Billboard 200 — the highest-charting debut by a Chinese artiste in the chart's history. Released globally on July 18, the album cements Jackson as the first Chinese artiste to chart two consecutive albums in the Billboard 200 Top 15, following the success of his 2022 album Magicman (#15). Told in four chapters, Magicman 2 explores themes of chaos, illusion, self-reflection and healing — tracing Jackson's inner journey with raw honesty and cinematic vision. Wang explained: 'Magicman 2 — like I have said many times — is not just a concept. It is not based on an idea or inspiration. It is 100% real. It is my story. A reflection of how I see society, humanity and reality. How I felt, how I faced my darkest days... and how I made it out. 'It is about acceptance. About choosing to keep going and evolving into a more grounded, more honest, more mature version of myself. I felt the need to share this with you — because I believe we all have a 'Magicman' inside of us. That hidden side we do not fully understand, but cannot stop thinking about. The part of us we fear... but also want to face. 'On the Magicman 2 World Tour, this is not just a concert. This is an experience. I want to bring you into my world. Right into the heart of the story — no filters, no masks. Like a movie playing out in front of your eyes. We dive in together. This is Magicman 2. Welcome to the journey.' Jackson's 2023 Magicman World Tour sold out across the globe and his performance at the 2023 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival made history as the first-ever Chinese solo artiste to perform at the festival three times, with his set trending #1 worldwide on X. Across social media platforms, Jackson boasts over 100 million followers, making him the most-followed artiste in China on Instagram. In addition to his success as a solo artiste, Jackson was recently named creative director for Nike and Jordan. He also serves as a global ambassador for Louis Vuitton, Cartier and Hennessy.

Jackson Wang reveals how Diljit Dosanjh joined 'Buck' and why he sees him as a big brother
Singer, rapper, and producer Jackson Wang has opened up about how his recent collaboration with Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh came to be—and the deep respect he holds for him as both an artist and a person. The two recently teamed up for 'Buck,' a track featured on Wang's forthcoming album 'Magicman 2', marking a high-profile partnership between two global icons of Asian music. Jackson Wang on collaborating with Diljit Dosanjh In a candid statement on Raj Shamani's podcast, Jackson Wang recalled first seeing Diljit perform live at Coachella in 2022. 'I saw Diljit at Coachella three years back—he was performing right after me. My friends are huge Diljit fans, so I watched his set with them and thought, 'Wow, I wish I could collaborate with him someday.'' That wish became reality two years later. 'I was making 'Magicman 2', and there's this song called 'Buck'. I was like, 'For some reason, if Diljit hops on, it would be fire.' So I DMed him and said, 'Hey champ, I have a song—if you vibe with it, please let me know. If you don't, that's totally fine too. Much respect.'' 'He showed me a lot of love and support, and thankfully for me, he said, 'Give me two weeks,' because I think he was shooting a movie. We recorded the track and were also in a couple of shoots together.' 'Diljit is like a big brother to me': Jackson Wang But beyond the music, it's Dosanjh's character that left a lasting impression. 'He has always been, to me—not just as an artist and global icon—but as a person, like a big brother. It's not like he ever lectures people or tries to teach you anything. But through his words, there's so much sh*t to learn—just real wisdom.' Wang added, 'I kind of hate bringing up that side of him, because he doesn't... but look at me, I'm rapid fire. He just says a few things, and when you really think about it, you realise—that's exactly what it is.' 'Buck' blends Jackson Wang's signature sleek production with Diljit Dosanjh's unmistakable Punjabi vocals. Both artists performed at Coachella in 2022 and 2023, further cementing their presence on the global stage. Wang's 'Magicman 2' is one of the most anticipated releases in the Asian pop scene this year, and his work with Diljit is expected to attract fans from both the K-pop and Punjabi music worlds. 'Magicman 2' arrives on your music streaming platform on July 18.
