Ukraine's Defence Ministry puts White Wolf strike drone into service
Ukraine's Ministry of Defence has officially codified and authorised the use of the White Wolf strike UAV by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The UAV system can be deployed within minutes and includes a drone equipped with a digital combined camera, a control and command station, a set of power batteries and other components. Background: Meanwhile, Ukraine's 110th Separate Territorial Defence Brigade recently demonstrated the combat performance of the domestically produced heavy bomber drone Perun. The UAV can carry up to 16 kg of payload and has a one-way flight range of up to 20 kilometers. The UAV features an automatic targeting system and can complete missions even when communication is lost. Ukraine's Defence Ministry has codified and approved the Ukrainian-made KRAMPUS mobile flamethrower strike system for use in the Armed Forces. Source: Main Directorate for Support of the Life Cycle of Weapons and Military Equipment Details: The complex is designed to perform assault and defence tasks, has compact dimensions and weight, and can be placed in the back of a pickup truck, minibus or trailer. KRAMPUS is equipped with two silent electric motors and a tracked chassis. It can move off-road through forest thickets, sand, and mud and overcome steep slopes. "The system is equipped with jamming-resistant control channels and operates in cold, heat, snow, and rain. The platform's battery capacity is sufficient for several hours of continuous movement. Thanks to this, it can operate at a position in standby mode for a long time," the Ministry of Defence said in a statement. The ground robotic system is equipped with video cameras and a combat module with RPV-16 rocket-propelled infantry flamethrowers capable of destroying enemy manpower and lightly armoured vehicles. Ukraine approves domestically made Spider ground robot for military use
The Ministry of Defence has codified and approved the Spider ground-based robotic system for use by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The system has modifications for performing various tasks such as logistical support and specific engineering tasks. The developers also found a technological solution to increase the control range of such systems. The ground robot is compact in size – two of them can fit in the back of a military pickup truck. The platform weighs just over 50 kg and can carry up to a hundred kilogrammes of payload. According to the report, the robots have four engines, which increases the mobility and the system's endurance in combat conditions. "The robotic platforms are distinguished by their manoeuvrability and ease of control, their ability to operate in areas affected by enemy electronic warfare, and to perform complex manoeuvres in confined spaces. The Spiders dynamically overcome steep slopes and can move at an angle. The battery charge is sufficient for several hours of continuous movement," the Ministry of Defence said in a statement. Defence Ministry codifies 3 modifications of Ukrainian pump-action shotguns effective against drones
The Ministry of Defence has codified and approved three modifications of Ukrainian-made pump-action smoothbore shotguns for use by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Source: Main Directorate for Support of the Life Cycle of Weapons and Military Equipment at the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine Details: These 12-gauge pump-action shotguns are designed to perform various tactical tasks. They use 76 mm (3-inch) shell cartridges, which can be loaded with either slugs or buckshot. "These firearms are effective, particularly in close-quarters combat, easy to operate, and highly reliable. Such weapons are especially suitable for infantry troops (as secondary weapons) during engagements in dense urban environments or narrow trenches," the Ministry of Defenсe stated. The ministry also noted that in the Russo-Ukrainian war, pump-action shotguns have proven effective against Russian kamikaze drones. Loaded with buckshot, the shotguns are used to destroy UAVs at short range – especially during their final approach toward the target. "Ukrainian pumpguns are compact and equipped with Picatinny rails for mounting accessories such as foregrips, reflex sights, tactical flashlights, and laser designators. The compactness of the weapon is ensured by folding or telescopic stocks that can be adjusted to fit the shooter's anatomy," the statement added. The Ministry of Defence also reported that Ukraine has launched licensed serial production of Western-model small arms. Among them is the Czech CZ Bren 2 assault rifle, which surpasses Kalashnikov rifles in terms of ergonomics, lighter weight, and modular design.
