Get to know Mad Ramos, the first Sparkle Campus Cutie winner
Mad Ramos has captured hearts as the inaugural Sparkle Campus Cutie winner! But beyond his striking presence, Mad is a young man with ambition, talent, and a deep sense of purpose. Here are five things to know about Mad, who has joined the cast of Kapuso youth-oriented series "Maka." A friendly face with an intimidating vibe Mad, who was born Ahmad Ramos on November 16, 2005, admitted that he may appear intimidating at times, but he described himself as a "very friendly and approachable" guy. He is a graduating Grade 12 student from the University of Santo Tomas and hopes to take up Customs Administration in college. A proud Muslim Mad is driven by a powerful goal: to represent the Muslim community. "Gusto kong i-represent ;yung Muslim community na kayang-kaya natin makipagsabayan sa ganitong larangan, sa ganitong industry. Kasi konti lang naman 'di ba ang sumusubok sa ganito," he said. He hopes to make his Muslim brothers and sisters proud and intends to continue his mission for them. A talented volleyball player Beyond his budding entertainment career, Mad is an accomplished athlete. He is a volleyball player at UST, where he is part of the varsity team. "Na-recruit po ako doon kaya po nakapag-aral po ako doon," he said. Aspiring action star with big dreams When asked about his dream acting genre, Mad said that he believes his athletic background gives him an advantage in doing action projects. "Feel ko advantage ko 'yun, puwede ring maging leading man, 'di ba? Kahit na may boundaries ako as a Muslim. Siyempre, we'll work things out, may paraan naman iyan para magawa," he said. He foresees himself as a successful actor and model in 10 years, eager to take on all opportunities that come his way, driven by a strong desire to learn and achieve. "Actually lahat gusto kong kunin eh, gano'n ako ka-hungry right now na gusto kong kunin lahat and matuto," he said. A dedicated family guy Mad is deeply family-oriented. He recounts seeking advice and support from his grandmother and parents during challenging times, including preparing for interviews. "I'm very thankful na sinuportahan nila ako hanggang dulo. Kita niyo naman, 'yung iba galing pang Mindanao, who flew from Mindanao papunta dito para lang suportahan ako. Ganon nila ako kamahal," he said. —MGP, GMA Integrated News

Will Ashley, Ralph De Leon share housemate bets for ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition' Season 2
The highly successful 'Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition' is gearing up for a second season. On Thursday's episode of 'Fast Talk With Boy Abunda,' finalists Will Ashley and Ralph De Leon shared the four celebrities they want to see as housemates in the next season. According to Will, 'Maka' star Ashley Sarmiento is someone he wants to see inside the PBB house because 'Interested din po ako sa personality niya.' "Hindi ko pa siya ganoong nakikilala eh. Kumbaga parang same same din po kami,' Will added. He also chose Marco Masa, Ashley's fellow 'Maka' star, because he sees his own personality reflected in the young actor. Another artist on his list is Bryce Eusebio because 'feeling ko competitive sa task. Magaling." Last on his list is 'Mga Batang Riles' standout Anton Vinzon whom he described as 'magaling." 'That energy po parang mga ano Michael Sager,' he said. Meanwhile Ralph is choosing Gela Atayde as his Kapamilya bet because of her caring nature. 'Sobrang maalaga po talaga niya and I think that's something essential sa bahay,' Ralph said. Picking Harvey Bautista, the Kapamilya star explained Harvey somehow mirrors Will's personality. 'Same sila ni Will na tahimik sa start pero kapag nagtagal, kukulit na talaga.' Adding on his list of bets is Mutya Orquia because she is a 'ball of sunshine' that they need inside the house. His last pick is Daniela Stranner, whom Ralph described as someone who is 'palaban.' Shan Vesagas cheers for Esnyr as he earns Big Four spot in 'PBB': ‘My Big Winner'
Shan Vesagas is one supportive friend after his close friend Esnyr clinched a Big Four spot in 'Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition.' The Sparkle star took to TikTok to cheer for the "PBB" housemate, sharing some of his cherished moments with Esnyr. 'My Big Winner! You came a long way not just inside the house but also in life, you deserve this so much but no matter what happens you're a winner in our hearts,' Shan wrote in the caption. 'God loves selfless and humble people that's why [you're] so blessed and [I know] that you will stay that way. I'll forever treasure you and will always be here no matter what,' he added. In the comment section, the 'Maka' star also asked his followers to vote for Esnyr and his duo Charlie Fleming on the Big Night. Charlie and Esnyr were the first duo to enter the Big Four after winning the votes cast by both the remaining duos and the house challengers. They are joined by the duo of Will Ashley and Ralph De Leon, who won the first Big Jump Challenge on Tuesday. Shan has appeared in Esnyr's high school series on YouTube alongside Brent Manalo as Precious' love interests. Previously, Esnyr brought some of the series's characters in "Pinoy Big Brother." In an interview with GMA News Online, Shan expressed his support for Esnyr and Brent in their stint in Bahay ni Kuya. Anton Vinzon, Raheel Bhyria, Sparkle Campus Cutie winner Mad Ramos join 'Maka' cast
A new set of Sparkle stars are joining the cast of the Kapuso teen-oriented show 'Maka!' According to a post by GMA Public Affairs, the second season of 'Maka' will feature 'Mga Batang Riles' stars Anton Vinzon and Raheel Bhyria as well as 'Sparkle Campus Cutie' winner Mad Ramos. Aside from Anton, Raheel, and Mad, the cast now also includes former "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" housemate Josh Ford. 'Maka' started airing its second season in January. It also stars Zephanie, Lapillus member Chanty Videla, John Clifford, Elijah Alejo, Shan Vesagas, and more. Michael Sager, Ashley Ortega, Josh Ford, and Vince Maristela are having a fan meet! Sparkle announced that the former "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" housemates will be at the Bandstand in Enchanted Kingdom at 4 p.m. on Friday to greet their fans. Tickets are available on the Enchanted Kingdom website. Ashley appeared in "Lolong: Pangil ng Maynila" after her eviction from PBB. Michael and Josh, meanwhile, had stints as "host-mates" in "Unang Hirit."
