Diddy Sued By Bad Boy Co-Founder Kirk Burrowes For Sexual Harassment And More

One Bad Boy co-founder is going 'bad' on the other. Kirk Burrowes recently sued Diddy for sexual harassment and a slew of other accusations. People recently reported that Burrowes' legal team filed an 18-page complaint against the controversial mogul on Friday (Feb. 28), citing a 'deeply disturbing' and 'toxic environment of coercion, fear and psychological manipulation.' In addition to sexual harassment, they claimed there were instances of physical aggression and coercion, unwanted sexual advances, and inappropriate behavior during business meetings. Burrowes claims that the 'I Need A Girl' artist used blackmail, violence, and extortion to force him to give up his 25% stake in their legendary label. This lawsuit comes 22 years after Burrowes first sued Diddy, claiming that he violently influenced him to give up $25 million by storming into their offices with a baseball bat and forcing him to sign a contract that effectively withdrew his ownership of Bad Boy. The lawsuit was dismissed because it fell outside of the statute of limitations. Kirk Burrowes' lawsuit against Diddy comes days after he sued his mother, Janice Combs, for fraud. He claimed that she 'knowingly participated in the fraudulent scheme' to gain possession of his 25% stake in Bad Boy, which he gave up after he was extorted by the Making The Band star. Burrowes' lawsuit, per Rolling Stone, reveals that he only recently learned about these alleged deeper, darker methods of getting him to give up his power. 'This latest lawsuit filed by Kirk Burrowes, filed by none other than Tyrone Blackburn, is another frivolous attempt to re-litigate claims that have been repeatedly thrown out of court over the past 30 years,' Puff's legal team told HipHopDX. 'Despite repeated dismissals, Burrowes and Blackburn are intent on wasting the court's time and resources by refiling dismissed claims and now dragging Mr. Combs' 80 year old mother into this.' Burrowes is looking to get his ownership stake back, plus compensation, and to have the company audited. Meanwhile, Diddy remains behind bars after being arrested in September for racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking. His trial is set to begin in May. Sara Rivers From Diddy's ‘Making The Band' Sues Mogul For Sexual Harassment

Sara Rivers, former member and star of Sean 'Diddy' Combs' Making The Band 2 show, has accused the disgraced music mogul of sexual harassment and more. The new court filings obtained by HipHopDX came just ahead of New York City's Gender Motivated Violence Act's 'lookback window' coming to an end on Friday (Feb. 28). Rivers is demanding at least $60,000,000 in damages for 'extreme emotional distress impacting nearly every aspect of Plaintiff's life and personal relationships' which she claims occurred while she was filming the show in 2002. Rivers' lawsuit claims she endured 'inhumane' treatment while filming, such as having her eating and sleeping schedules controlled, being forced to share a room with four men despite being married, doing unpaid manual labor and being ridiculed for her appearance. She also alleges that Diddy 'interfered' with her music career for years after her time on the show, including 'sabotaging' several record deals. The suit also accuses the 55-year-old of allegedly 'using his left hand to adjust collar of her jacket and [running] his left hand across her breasts, while repeating the phrase 'if she needs anything to let him know.'' Diddy's legal team issued a statement to HipHopDX refuting Rivers' claims. 'This is yet another example of false claims being filed against Mr. Combs,' they stated. 'No matter how many lawsuits are filed, it won't change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone—man or woman, adult or minor.' 'We live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason,' they continued. 'With the deadline for New York's Gender-Motivated Violence Act expiring tomorrow, it's clear that opportunists are rushing to file last-minute, meritless claims. Mr. Combs remains confident he will prevail in court.' Rivers is backed by attorney Ariel Mitchell, one of the individuals Diddy sued for defamation in a $50,000,000 lawsuit filed in January. One more to the list- Making The Band singer, Sara Rivers files lawsuit against Diddy

Sara Rivers, a former singer from MTV's Making The Band 2, has filed a lawsuit against music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs, accusing him of mistreatment, career sabotage, and sexual harassment during her time on the reality show. As per TMZ, the lawsuit filed by Rivers' attorney Ariel Mitchell, also names MTV, Viacom, and several former employees of Bad Boy Entertainment, including Diddy's mother Janice Combs and ex-assistant Fonzworth Bentley. Rivers claims she was subjected to demeaning tasks, including the infamous "cheesecake incident," where Diddy allegedly forced her and fellow members of Da Band to walk several blocks to fetch him a dessert. In addition to the public humiliation, Rivers alleges inappropriate living conditions during filming, including being forced to sleep in a room with four other males, despite being married at the time. She states that she was threatened with removal from the show if she did not comply with these conditions. Rivers further accuses Combs of maliciously sabotaging her music career by disbanding Da Band while retaining most of her earnings, depriving her of financial opportunities. She also alleges sexual harassment, claiming Diddy once backed her into a corner, blocked her movement, and touched her inappropriately. In response, Combs' legal team has vehemently denied the allegations, calling the lawsuit a "false claim" and asserting that he has never sexually assaulted anyone. They believe these lawsuits are meritless and are part of an opportunistic rush to file claims before New York's Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Law window closes on 1 March. Combs remains confident he will prevail in court. This lawsuit is part of a growing number of legal challenges faced by Combs, following similar allegations made by former associates and victims, including four new suits all filed in a single day as reported by Variety.
