Irmohizam receives Malaysia Outstanding Business Icon Excellence Award 2025
KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Dr Irmohizam Ibrahim, group managing director of World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL) and board director of the World Trade Centres Association (WTCA), received the Outstanding Business Icon Excellence Award 2025 at the Malaysia Economic Forum held at Berjaya Times Square Hotel yesterday. The award was presented by Tunku Datuk Seri Utama Naquiyuddin Tuanku Ja'afar. The forum, themed "Navigating the Future: Pioneering Economic Resilience and Green Prosperity", was jointly organised by the Economic Club of Kuala Lumpur (ECKL) and the KSI Strategic Institute for Asia Pacific (KSI). It brought together leaders from government, business, and academia to chart Malaysia's economic direction amid global uncertainty. The Malaysia Outstanding Business Icon Excellence Award recognises exceptional CEOs, C-suite executives, and business leaders who have demonstrated remarkable leadership, strategic foresight, and significant contributions to the business sector. It also honours leadership that advances the Business Events (BE) industry by promoting excellence, collaboration, and global recognition. Irmohizam was recognised for his visionary leadership and dedication to advancing the BE sector through innovation and collaborative growth. "This award is not just a personal milestone but a reflection of the collective efforts of my team at World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur in navigating the evolving Business Events landscape.
