Dancing with the Stars couple perform as Trump, Melania
A contestant on Israel's Dancing with the Stars has paid homage to US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump by dressing as the couple while performing to one of the Republican's favourite songs. Taylor Malkov and her dancing partner Haim Pershtein appeared on the dance floor, with Malkov dressed as the First Lady on inauguration day, and Pershtein dressed as a yellow-tied Mr Trump. Malkov, who is an actress and online personality, was born in the USA but moved to Israel when she was a baby with her Israeli father and Israeli born American mother. WATCH THE VIDEO BELOW The couple's performance started with the US national anthem playing, before the music transitioned into YMCA by Village People, a song used by Mr Trump at his rallies throughout his run to become President once more. The bizarre tribute to Mr Trump took place around a week ago, however, video of the performance has only just started circulating online. The video was posted online by X account Vivid Prowess. They page said the performers 'killed it' with their high-octane moves. Online, the reaction to performance was overwhelmingly positive, with many saying they 'loved it', while others tagged the US President and First Lady in hope of them seeing the unique tribute. 'It's astonishing what six months of sane strong leadership can do in America. This was unimaginable last year. The Golden Era indeed,' one user wrote. 'America dancing with joy again!' wrote another. It is unclear if the US President has seen the performance yet.

Russia's Ryazan oil refinery halts operations after drone strike, sources say
MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia's Ryazan oil refinery has suspended operations after an attack by Ukrainian drones on Monday, three industry sources told Reuters. The main crude distillation unit at the refinery, CDU-6, caught fire in the attack and the plant has fully suspended oil processing, the sources said. Rosneft, which owns the plant, did not respond to a request for comment. Ukraine's military said on Monday some of its drones had hit the Ryazan oil refinery overnight, with at least five explosions occurring in its vicinity. See for yourself — The Yodel is the go-to source for daily news, entertainment and feel-good stories. By signing up, you agree to our Terms and Privacy Policy. The governor of the Ryazan region, Pavel Malkov, said on the Telegram messaging app that falling debris from destroyed Ukrainian drones had sparked a fire at an industrial enterprise in the region. Malkov did not elaborate. The plant may partially resume operations within several days, according to one of the sources who spoke to Reuters. The CDU-6 unit has a capacity of some 170,000 bpd, or some 48% of Ryazan's refining capacity. The refinery may turn on CDU-4 and CDU-3 prime distillation units, while CDU-6 is under repair, the sources said. CDU-4 and CDU-3 have a total refining capacity of around 145,000 bpd, or some 41% of the plant's installed refining capacity, according to the sources and Reuters' calculations. Ryazan refinery partially resumed oil processing and loading of motor fuels to railway tanks on February 11 after staying idle for 18 days after another attack by Ukrainian drones on January 24. Ryazan refinery processed 13.1 million metric tons (262,000 barrels per day), or almost 5% of Russia's total refining throughput in 2024. It produced 2.3 million tons of gasoline, 3.4 million tons of diesel, 4.2 million tons of fuel oil and 1 million of jet fuel, according to source-based data.

Ukrainian drones reportedly strike Russian refinery in Ryazan Oblast for 3rd time in 2025
Drones operated by Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces struck an oil refinery in Russia's Ryazan Oblast, the General Staff of Ukraine's Armed Forces reported on Feb. 24. Kyiv considers oil refineries to be valid military targets, as profits from the fossil fuel industry fund Russia's war machine. This is the third time since the beginning of 2025 that drones have attacked the Ryazan Oil Refinery, according to the independent Telegram channel Astra. The Ryazan Oil Refining Company's facility was previously struck overnight on Jan. 24 and Jan. 26. At least five explosions were heard near the facility. According to preliminary data from the General Staff, the attack caused a fire near the primary oil processing facility. The full consequences of the attack are still being determined, according to the statement. Ryazan Oblast Governor Pavel Malkov confirmed that falling drone debris had caused a fire at "one of the enterprises" in the region. According to Malkov, no one was injured. Ryazan lies almost 500 kilometers (310 miles) from the Russia-Ukraine border. The Ryazan Oil Refinery is one of Russia's five largest oil refining facilities, according to Andrii Kovalenko, head of Ukraine's Center for Countering Disinformation. Its capacity is 17.1 million metric tons of oil per year. Kovalenko added that the fuel produced at the enterprise is used by the Russian army's strategic long-range aviation, which launches missile strikes against Ukraine. The Kyiv Independent could not verify the claims. The Ryazan Oil Refinery previously suspended operations due to damage from Ukrainian drone attacks, Reuters reported on Jan. 27, citing two industry sources. Ukraine confirmed hitting the plant in an overnight drone strike on Jan. 24.
