Louise Redknapp gushes over new boyfriend as she speaks out on 'age gap'
Louise Redknapp has been dating London businessman Drew Michael for over a year and the 50-year-old singer has now opened up about their relationship

Louise Redknapp has opened up about her relationship with her boyfriend, who is nine years her junior. The 50-year-old former Eternal band member started dating London businessman Drew Michael in 2023, six years after parting ways with ex-footballer Jamie Redknapp, who is now married to model Frida Andersson.
Speaking on Lisa Snowdon and Andy Goldstein's podcast 'We're not getting any younger', Louise shared that Michael is "great with my boys, he's a great friend to them." She added: "He's just a really great guy. I feel very lucky to have met him."
Addressing the age difference in their relationship, the mum-of-two noted: "We live in a society where if it's the other way round it doesn't get talked about- but it does get brought up". Louise ended her 19-year marriage with Jamie Redknapp, presenter of League Of Their Own and former footballer, with whom she shares two sons – Charlie, 19, and Beau, 15.

The singer gushed over how happy she is with her new partner, stating that things in her love life "are super good and it's just nice enjoying somebody and someone's company and having a nice time", adding that it is "all positive". She revealed to the podcast hosts that she has "learnt to enjoy the good things – I really have".

However, she was quick to point out that life isn't always perfect, saying: "Of course we all worry about things and what's next but I'm just really focusing on the now which has taken me a really long time to do." The 'Angel Of Mine' singer revealed that she manifested her relationship. A track on her latest album, Confessions, titled 'Manifesting', is "totally" about Michael.
She said: "I've got a song on the album called manifesting right? And it's totally about him." She mentioned that even though they "laugh about the song all the time", there's an element of truth in it, and she believes she manifested what she desired in a partner.
Louise continued: "And we laugh all the time and it's not about him as such, but it was like manifesting what you're looking for and what you need. The whole song is really tongue in cheek - I didn't manifest him at all but I think you meet people at the right time for you in your life." This revelation follows Louise's previous admission that her divorce provided her with the liberty to return to her first love- music.

"The kids were getting older, I was well aware I needed to find something for myself, I couldn't just keep on kind of just being there existing – I'm an entertainer," she previously shared with Virgin Radio's Mark Wogan.
