LUDHIANA: There was a commotion after a snake suddenly entered the car of a bank manager near Amloh Road on Wednesday afternoon. As per reports, Bank Manager Hardeep Singh parked his car near Amloh Chowk on GT Road and was busy working inside the bank when, at the same time,
Ajay
, who owns a nearby tea shop, saw the snake entering the car.
Reports suggest that Ajay immediately informed the manager.
As soon as the news spread, some people tried to get the snake out, but it did not come out. After this, the rescue team was called. Manik Kapoor, in charge of the rescue team, pulled out the snake after much effort. "The snake that entered the car was 4 feet long."
Manik
said that if the snake was not removed on time, it could have been a bigger danger.
A rescue team member said that the snake was hiding in the overgrown grass near the bank on the highway and entered the car in search of a safe place.
He added that after several hours of effort, the snake was caught and would be released safely in the forest. Manik Kapoor appealed to people that due to the reduction of forests, animals are coming to human settlements, so check carefully before getting into a vehicle. He added that if bitten by a snake, one should go to the hospital immediately and seek medical help.
Manik said that during rainy days, snakes often enter vehicles, houses, or shops in search of a dry and warm place. He advised people not to ignore any suspicious movement and to seek expert help immediately. Meanwhile, the bank manager breathed a sigh of relief and thanked the rescue team.
