Arci Muñoz on comments about her 'new look': 'Ito naman talaga 'to'
Arci Muñoz has addressed the recent comments about her "new look." Speaking to GMA News Online at the GMA Gala 2025, Arci said that she's busy and hasn't seen what followers have been saying online. "Pero ito naman talaga 'to. Maganda na ako. Partida, nagpapangit pa nga ako," she said. Instead, Arci urged netizens to focus on what's important. "Pero marami nang problema sa mundo. Problemahin n'yo na lang 'yung mukha n'yo, 'wag 'yung mukha ng ibang tao," she said. In March, Arci admitted that she has had surgical enhancements in the past, saying, "Obvious ba? OG na OG na nga ako diyan." Arci was among the stars who graced the GMA Gala, which returned for its fourth year. It took place at the Manila Marriott Hotel in Pasay. Roxie Smith reveals interest in joining Miss Universe Philippines
For the first time ever, Roxie Smith talked about her plans for returning to pageantry. On the sidelines of GMA Gala 2025, the Sparkle star revealed to GMA News Online that she is currently contemplating a potential bid for the Miss Universe Philippines title. "I've been contemplating if I would join Miss Universe Philippines. I have a few more months to decide, and hopefully, I want to represent Baguio. But we'll see," she said. Roxie was also quick to emphasize that her plans are not yet set in stone. "Nothing's finalized yet 'cause, of course, I have to talk to the org and everybody involved. So we'll see. Pero if it's meant for you, darating din 'yan. So abangan," she said. Roxie has already represented the country on the international stage as Miss Earth Philippines 2020. She was among the stars who graced the GMA Gala, which returned for its fourth year. It took place at the Manila Marriott Hotel in Pasay. Roxie served full glam in an embellished, figure-hugging dress with a deep plunge neckline. Kai Sotto, Ray Parks grace GMA Gala 2025
Basketball stars Kai Sotto and Ray Parks were among those who attended the 2025 GMA Gala on Saturday at the Manila Marriott Hotel in Pasay City. Sotto attended with Sparkle artist and girlfriend Rere Madrid. On Instagram, the Gilas Pilipinas big man also shared some pre-Gala snaps. Sotto is recovering from an ACL injury he sustained earlier this year in a Japan match with his squad Koshigoya Alphas. Due to his injury, Sotto will miss Gilas Pilipinas' campaign in the upcoming FIBA Asia Cup. Parks, meanwhile, came with content creator and wife Zeinab Harake. On Instagram, GMA Integrated News reporter Bea Pinlac shared a video of Barbie and Jameson holding hands while walking inside the Manila Marriott Hotel in Pasay City. In July, it can be recalled that the Kapuso Primetime Princess clarified that she and Jameson are just friends. Barbie's latest horror film, "P77," is now showing in Philippine cinemas. "P77" is directed by Derick Cabrido, the filmmaker behind the Metro Manila Film Festival 2023 entry "Mallari," and produced by GMA Pictures and Clever Minds Inc. It was written by Enrico Santos, and the story was told by Anj Atienza and Xtian Julao. Barbie also currently stars in "Beauty Empire" alongside Kyline Alcantara, Ruffa Gutierrez, South Korean actor Choi Bo Min, and more. It airs from Monday to Thursday at 9:35 p.m. on GMA Network. The GMA Gala 2025 made the Grand Ballroom of the Manila Marriott Hotel sparkle on Saturday as today's brightest stars gathered for the annual event. Celebrities and personalities were honored with awards, with Kyline Alcantara notably named as the Female Best Dressed of the Night, and David Licauco bagging once again the Male Best Dressed of the Night. Will Ashley and Winona Collins were hailed as the Young Stars of the Night, while Brent Manalo and Mika Salamanca or MikBrent were awarded as the Couple of the Night. Esnyr, who made her first-ever GMA Gala appearance, received the Red Carpet Scene Stealer award alongside Carla Abellana. The Hall of Famer for this year's gala were Marian Rivera, Dingdong Dantes, Alden Richards, and Heart Evangelista.
