Popular YouTuber Manish Kashyap has officially resigned from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), announcing his decision during a Facebook Live session. In an emotional address, Kashyap declared that he is no longer an active member of the party.'I couldn't protect myself while being in the BJP. How can I help others?' he said, explaining his reasons for stepping away. Kashyap hinted at feeling let down by the party and suggested that his role within it had become month, Manish Kashyap was allegedly beaten by some junior doctors at Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) after an altercation with them. He also stated that he would now continue raising his voice through other platforms and in different ways. Without giving specifics, Kashyap subtly hinted at the possibility of contesting in the upcoming assembly elections, suggesting a shift toward a more direct political month, Manish Kashyap was allegedly beaten by some junior doctors at Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) after an altercation with Kashyap joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) last year in the presence of BJP leaders Manoj Tiwari and Anil Baluni. WHO IS MANISH KASHYAP?Manish Kashyap fought elections for Bihar's Chanpatia Assembly seat in 2020. On the nomination papers, Manish had mentioned his name as 'Tripurari Kumar Tiwari', which is his official name. He studied engineering in Kashyap came into the limelight after he was arrested for uploading a video which falsely showed migrant labourers from Bihar being harassed in Tamil Nadu. In response, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar called for an inquiry into the Nadu CM MK Stalin denied allegations of harassment of migrant workers in the state. He also reassured Nitish Kumar that workers from Bihar were not being the time, Deputy General of Police (DGP) Tamil Nadu Shailendra Babu said, 'Somebody in Bihar has posted a false and misleading video regarding migrant workers from Bihar being attacked in Tamil Nadu. Two videos which are circulating on social media regarding the incident are false. The facts of the videos are twisted to appear that migrant workers living in Tamil Nadu are being attacked."Later, Madras High Court on granted bail to Bihar-based YouTuber Manish Kashyap, who was arrested in March for circulating fake videos of migrant labourers from Bihar being attacked in Tamil Nadu.

Hospitality technology company OYO announced that its business accelerator division has added over 3500 new corporate clients in FY25, marking a 20 percent year-on-year growth in its corporate portfolio. OYO now has a network of more than 6500 corporate clients with this addition. Mumbai emerged as the top-performing market, adding over 700 new corporate clients in the past year, followed by Hyderabad with 400 and Pune with 350. Other major metro cities including Chennai and Bangalore also played a key role in the surge in corporate accounts. Some of the key brands added in FY25 include SBI Life, Cult Fit, and Sun TV Direct, further strengthening OYO's presence among large enterprises and pan-India organisations, a company release stated. Global travel technology firm Oyo announced on Friday that it has added more than 3,500 new corporate clients in the last financial year (FY25), marking a 20 per cent year-on-year growth in its corporate portfolio. With this addition, the platform now has a network of over 6,500 corporate clients. In terms of top-performing markets, Mumbai led the charge, adding over 700 new corporate clients in the past year. Hyderabad followed with 400, while Pune secured the third spot with 350 new additions. Other major metropolitan hubs, including Chennai and Bangalore, also contributed to the overall growth in corporate accounts, the company said. Some top additions include brands such as SBI Life, Cult Fit, and Sun TV Direct. In addition, the company's corporate travel business witnessed a boost following the launch of Oravel Travel Solutions in October 2024. Lightning strikes three children in Chhattisgarh

Bhopal/Raipur: In a tragic incident, three children were struck by lightning in Kurudih village of Korba district of Chhattisgarh . They were near a pond when the lightning hit. Among them, 14-year-old Manish Kashyap and 13-year-old Lokesh Kumar suffered severe burns. Both were rushed to the district hospital for treatment. One of the injured regained consciousness after a while, but the condition of the other two remains critical, police said. Meanwhile, the Chhattisgarh Meteorological Department has issued a three-day warning for storms and heavy rain across 31 districts, including Raipur, Durg, and Bilaspur. The weather in Chhattisgarh has once again taken a dramatic turn. On Tuesday afternoon, Raipur experienced rainfall accompanied by strong winds. Extreme weather conditions continued to impact central Indian states, including Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Since Tuesday morning, Raipur has been covered with clouds.

3 boys injured by lightning strikes

Raipur: Three boys were struck by lightning in Kurudih village panchayat of Korba district on Monday evening following a sudden change in weather with thunder. Manish Kashyap (14) and Lokesh Kumar Karsh (13) sustained serious burn injuries and are undergoing treatment at the district hospital. Another boy, who received minor injuries, was discharged after initial gripped the village following the incident. Doctors stated that the condition of the two seriously injured boys is stable. The administration has appealed to the public to remain in safe places during adverse weather Raipur experienced cloudy conditions since morning, which turned into a brief spell of rain with wind in the afternoon on Tuesday. The local meteorological department has forecast lightning in isolated areas and expects this weather pattern to continue until 15 May, after which temperatures are likely to increase by 2-3 degrees Celsius.
