Another day, another Weverse livestream, and our favourite duo, BTS' Jimin and Jungkook, shared updates on what they have been up to these days. The two, who were discharged from the military on June 11 after completing their mandatory services, are currently in the US. As part of the group's special songwriting camp schedule, all members would be in the country for the next couple of months. Jimin and Jungkook, who are lovingly called 'Jikook' by their fans, hosted the live on Monday, July 14. During which, they gave their fans a peek into their camaraderie and shared updates on BTS' brand-new album. At one point in the livestream, the duo even embraced each other in a warm hug, followed by their cute giggles. ARMYs couldn't stop gushing over their adorable bond, with one even saying, 'Oh em gee this is too much for my heart." While interacting with the fans, Jimin also revealed that he went on a shopping spree with BTS' leader Kim Namjoon, aka RM, and Min Yoongi, lovingly called Suga. Jungkook cut him off and shared that he, too, wanted to go shopping. However, Jimin hilariously added that his two bandmates did not buy anything and he 'came out holding three bags of stuff." Further in the livestream, Jimin and Jungkook gave fans an update on their preparations for their new album, which they announced in a previous Weverse live. He said, 'We're all working hard, working hard on preparations! To put it simply, we're on fire." Scheduled to be released between March and May 2026, this would be their first full album in six years, since Map of the Soul: 7 in 2020. While RM, Suga, Jimin, and Jungkook are already in the US, Jin, J-Hope, and V will soon join them after completing their solo commitments. Following the release of their new music, BTS will also embark on their much-awaited world tour sometime next year. As of now, BTS is gearing up for the release of their first live album, titled Permission to Dance on Stage – Live. Scheduled to drop on July 18, the album will feature performances from their Permission to Dance tour. Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. BTS Members Jet Off To The US After Announcing Album, World Tour

RM departed for Los Angeles on Sunday, with Suga, Jimin, and Jungkook following a day later. BTS has finally confirmed their comeback plans, and the excitement among their fans is at an all-time high. Just a few days back, all seven members, RM, Jin, J-Hope, Suga, Jimin, V and Jungkook, appeared together on a Weverse live for the first time since 2022. During the session, the K-pop supergroup revealed their plans for a new group album and their highly anticipated world tour. Both are scheduled for 2026. To embark on their album-making journey once again, BTS is reportedly heading to the US for a special songwriting camp. On Sunday, July 6, the group's leader, RM, aka Kim Namjoon, flew to Los Angeles to begin preparations. The next day, Suga, Jimin and Jungkook joined him. V, aka Kim Taehyung, is still in Paris, wrapping up his schedule for Celine at the Paris Fashion Week. He will directly join the team afterwards. Meanwhile, J-Hope and Jin will complete their remaining solo schedules before joining the rest of the team in the US. According to the Korean media outlet Dispatch, the seven members are unlikely to return to South Korea anytime soon. They plan to stay in the US for at least two months while working with international producers on their new music. BTS would be releasing a new full-length album, whose theme, music, and direction are all personally planned by the septet. It is scheduled for release in Spring 2026, between March and May. The creative process is reportedly set to begin in the US, and the group may move around to draw inspiration from artists worldwide. If all goes as planned, this would be their first full album in six years, since Map of the Soul: 7 in 2020, which was a follow-up to their 2019 extended play Map of the Soul: Persona. The latter became a turning point in BTS' career as its lead single, Boy with Luv, featuring American singer Halsey, hit No. 4 on Billboard Hot 100 upon its release. The 2019 song helped the K-pop group reach unprecedented heights. It became their fourth consecutive album to debut on the Billboard 200 chart at the number one position. As for now, J-Hope is set to headline Lollapalooza Berlin on July 13, while Jin is on his first-ever solo tour, RunSeokjin EP Tour. He is scheduled to perform in Japan, the United States, and the United Kingdom before concluding his tour in the Netherlands with shows scheduled on August 9 and 10. After the completion of his tour, he will join the rest of the members in the US for BTS's new album. First Published:

BTS has reunited, and their plans for releasing new music are being widely discussed. On July 1, the team announced that fans can expect a new album in Spring 2026, which will be followed by a world tour. As a part of this, RM flew to Los Angeles on July 6 and was followed by SUGA, Jimin and Jungkook, who took a flight towards him on the following day. Member V is said to join the team directly after wrapping up his Paris Fashion Week schedule for Celine; meanwhile, J-Hope and Jin will also finish off their solo work before reuniting with the team. Latest reports from Dispatch share how the group will not be returning to their homeland anytime soon. Plans for BTS' full group, studio album set for Spring 2026 release The Korean media outlet has revealed BTS' plans for a song camp in the USA, owing to which the group will not make their way back to South Korea for about 2 months. It was also reported that the group is working on a full-length album, whose concept, direction, and songs will all be personally planned by the seven members of the group and released in Spring 2026 (March-May next year). If true, this will be BTS' first studio album in 6 years following the release of Map of the Soul: 7 in 2020, which was a follow-up to their 2019 extended play Map of the Soul: Persona. The album became a changing point in the group's discography with the lead track Boy with Luv, a collaboration with Halsey, redefining their career. The record became their fourth consecutive album to debut at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. Another successful run is being highly anticipated by the team. BTS V Drops Wild Hat Selfie and Spills Massive Comeback Spoiler_You Won't Believe What He Said About the Next Album

V's Hat Game Is Next Level-And So Is His Spoiler Power If you thought your friend's fashion sense was wild, wait till you see what BTS's V (Kim Taehyung) just pulled off. On July 1, V posted a selfie on his Instagram Story that had fans doing double takes. No caption, no warning-just V chilling in a luxury Celine store in Japan, rocking a plain black tee and pants combo. But the real showstopper? A hat so wild it looked like it was made out of kadaif (yes, the dessert). Only V could pull off something that covers his entire face except for his eyes and still look like a million bucks. Turns out, V had just flown back to Korea after attending Jin's concert and a quick trip to Japan. And while most of us would be jet-lagged and hiding under our duvets, V was out here serving looks and breaking the internet. BTS's First Group Live After Military-And the Comeback News We've Been Dying For But the real plot twist came during BTS's first group live broadcast since their military discharges. The highlight? The long-awaited comeback announcement. RM (Kim Namjoon) hyped up fans, saying, "We're going to make an incredible album. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Upto 15% Discount for Salaried Individuals ICICI Pru Life Insurance Plan Undo Starting July, we'll be focusing on music together." He kept the details hush-hush, but hinted that this would be the group's first proper album in six years since "Map of the Soul: 7. " That's like waiting from your first year of college till graduation for a new BTS album-no wonder ARMYs are losing it. Then, V straight-up ended the suspense. When RM jokingly asked, "So when's the album coming out?" V didn't hesitate: "Next spring!" he blurted out, sending fans into a frenzy. He also teased that the album work would kick off in the US, with RM adding that it might turn into a "song camp" moving from place to place. Basically, BTS is about to go on a global creative road trip, and we're all invited (well, spiritually). V Gets Real About Military Life and His Unexpected DM V also opened up about his time in the army, sharing some surprisingly relatable moments. He talked about how certain messages kept him going during tough days, especially a letter written by comedian Moon Sanghoon to Yoo Jae-suk. V even DM'd Moon Sanghoon for the first time, saying it really helped him. He hinted at maybe appearing on Moon's YouTube channel "Ppadeonus"-imagine V just popping up on a random comedy vlog! Why This Hits Home for Us Let's be real-waiting for your favorite artist's comeback is a universal struggle. Whether it's BTS or your favorite Bollywood star, the anticipation, the spoilers, the wild fashion statements-it's all part of the ride. And just like us, these global icons have their own moments of vulnerability, late-night DMs, and comfort food hats (okay, maybe that last one is just V). The fact that BTS is planning their comeback like a college road trip, with creative pit stops and spontaneous ideas, feels super relatable. It's the kind of chaotic, passionate energy every youth squad dreams of. And if you're wondering about the economics-while V's Celine outfit might cost more than your semester fees, the excitement he brings is priceless. As we count down to next spring, let's remember: no matter where you are, the wait for something epic is always worth it. Sometimes, even global superstars need a little comfort and a lot of creativity. Here's to more wild hats, honest moments, and comebacks that make us all feel a little more connected.
