'When a female cow is appointed as the leader, she decides everything, while the males around her only know how to graze the crops,' he said in a social media post. Meanwhile, a social media user going by Asmawi Ahmad, in a Facebook post, reminded Salman that the Temerloh MP from PAS is a woman. 'I would be embarrassed to admit that I am a PAS member,' he said. PAS deputy president Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man reportedly defended Muhammad Salman, saying that the statement should be taken as a form of analogy in writing and was not intended to insult women. Meanwhile, Perikatan Nasional Wanita chief Datuk Mas Ermieyati Samsudin said Muhammad Salman's opinion was a personal opinion and did not reflect PAS' official stance.
