506 tribal hostels in state to get upgraded amenities

1 2 Ranchi: Over 28,000 students in 506 tribal hostels across the state are set to experience significant improvements in their educational journey through enhanced living facilities. These upgrades include better quality meals and new libraries. The initiative, spearheaded by the state welfare department and the school education and literacy department, is poised to upgrade tribal hostels and create a more conducive learning environment for students. The tribal welfare commissioner's office has invited proposals from non-govt organisations to manage the meal services, with 225 voluntary groups already showing interest. The establishment of dedicated library spaces will foster a love for reading and enhance study habits, providing students with the resources they need to excel academically. For students aspiring to enter competitive professional courses, a new coaching program in Hindpiri will offer targeted support to 300 talented tribal students in Classes XI and XII. This programme will equip students with books, notes, expert faculty guidance, mock tests, and regular performance evaluations, ensuring they are well-prepared for exams like NEET and JEE. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like When Knee Pain Hits, Start Eating These Foods, and Feel Your Pain Go Away (It's Genius) Read More Undo Minister of scheduled caste, tribe and backward class welfare department, Chamra Linda, said, "No talented tribal child should be left behind due to lack of resources.
