Cortland County car crash
CORTLAND COUNTY, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — On Tuesday, March 25, at around 12:35 p.m., officers of the Cortland County Sheriff's Office responded to a car crash in the area of McGraw-Marathon Road and Sperry Road in the Town of Freetown.
The officers discovered that the driver of a 2009 Toyota Camry had a medical incident, causing the driver to go off the road.
The car hit a utility pole and came to a stop in a field.
The driver of the car was transported by ambulance to Guthrie Cortland Medical Center for minor injuries.
The Cortland County Sheriff's Office was assisted at the scene by Marathon Fire Department, Marathon Ambulance (MAVAC), CNY Towing, and New York State Electric& Gas (NYSEG).
