How Atalanta Star Will Fit New-Look Inter Milan Formation

Serie A runners-up Inter Milan are working around the clock to sign Atalanta star forward Ademola Lookman. According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Nigerian fits perfectly into Cristian Chivu's new formation. Talks between Atalanta and Inter are ongoing after the Nerazzurri agreed personal terms with the player. Indeed, Ademola Lookman has accepted Inter's five-year contract offer worth €4.5 million net per season. Meanwhile, Atalanta rejected Inter's opening bid, deeming their €40m proposal insufficient. How Ademola Lookman Will Fit New-Look Inter Milan Set-Up Inter will likely stray away from Simone Inzaghi's trademark 3-5-2 set-up next term. Indeed, Chivu plans to make slight adjustments to Inzaghi's formation and switch to a 3-4-2-1. That would see Marcus Thuram drop back, leaving Lautaro Martinez as the only center-forward. Meanwhile, Lookman would likely slot next to the French star behind El Toro. Lookman's speed and one-on-one ability make him an ideal fit for the second line. Therefore, it allows him to exploit spaces and break defenses from the wing. Although Lookman's versatility enables him to play anywhere alongside the frontline, he's most comfortable on the left wing.

Fabrizio Biasin says that Marcus Thuram 'absolutely won't leave' Inter Milan, even if Ademola Lookman is to arrive at the club. Biasin spoke on Cronache di Spogliatoio, via FCInter1908. He predicted that the Nerazzurri want to have both Thuram and Lookman in their squad. Inter Milan have been making a move to sign Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman in the last few days. Reportedly, the Nerazzurri already have an agreement in hand with the Nigerian on personal terms. Then, yesterday Inter made their first official offer to Atalanta. Therefore, it is clear that the Nerazzurri have made Lookman a major transfer target this summer. What's not clear is what that would mean for the rest of Inter's squad planning. Naturally, the idea of a big money attacking signing like Lookman has raised some doubts about some of the strikers already in Inter's squad. And above all, about the future of France international Marcus Thuram. Biasin: 'Marcus Thuram Absolutely Won't Leave Inter' Even If Lookman Signs Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin noted that 'My first thought was that if Lookman really does come in, it's because someone is leaving.' 'And regarding that, I asked if that means that Thuram is leaving.' 'And they gave me a clear answer,' said Biasin. He related: 'Absoluely not. Thuram isn't leaving Inter.'

Report – Juventus Outcast Offered To Inter Milan On Free Transfer

Out-of-favour Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic has reportedly been offered to Inter Milan on a free transfer. This according to today's print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews. They report that the Nerazzurri could see the Serb as a replacement if Marcus Thuram leaves. Dusan Vlahovic has come to the end of yet another season at Juventus. And it has been another campaign of uncertainty for the 25-year-old former Fiorentina striker. Vlahovic has become a polarizing figure in Turin. Whilst the Serb scores at a fairly regular rate, there are also questions about what he offers in terms of linkup play. Juventus signed Vlahovic for a big fee in January of 2022. There were naturally big expectations accompanying it. But under Max Allegri, and then particularly Thiago Motta, and Igor Tudor, the 25-year-old has never quite made himself central to the project. Juventus Outcast Dusan Vlahovic Offer To Inter Milan Dusan Vlahovic currently has one year left to go on his contract at Juventus, which expires at the end of next June. There is little sign that the Bianconeri will offer the Serb a new contract. Therefore this summer would represent the last opportunity for Juventus to cash in on Vlahovic. On the other hand, the former Fiorentina striker could also leave on a free transfer. Either next summer, or even this one, if he agrees a termination of his contract. Agent Darko Ristic represents. Vlahovic. And he also has Inter midfielder Aleksandar Stankovic as a client. According to La Stampa, Ristic has brought up Vlahovic's situation while discussing Stankovic's future with Inter. The agent has proposed the idea of Inter potentially moving for the 25-year-old. According to La Stampa, if Inter were to lose Marcus Thuram, they would consider Vlahovic as a surprise option to replace the Frenchman.

Report – Inter Milan Building Six-Man Attacking Corps For Next Season

Inter Milan are targeting an attack of six players with the signing of Ademola Lookman this summer transfer window. This according to today's print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews. They report that the Nigerian will help facilitate the transition to a 3-4-2-1 shape. Inter Milan are working to sign Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman. That has been the bombshell of the last couple days, and could redefine the Nerazzurri's summer transfer window. The big question is how this move will affect Inter's squad-building. Inter already have four out-and-out forwards in their squad next season – Lautaro Martinez, Marcus Thuram, Ange-Yoan Bonny, and Francesco Pio Esposito. Inter Targeting Six-Player Attacking Core With Ademola Lookman Having five forwards might well be excessive if Inter are to play with just two strikers next season. However, new Nerazzurri coach Cristian Chivu has already flirted with the idea of switching to a 3-4-2-1 shape. And that is the kind of role that he sees for Lookman. The Nigerian is more suited to playing in a withdrawn role than as an out-and-out striker. Meanwhile, midfielder Davide Frattesi has always looked more comfortable in the final third than he has with his other duties in midfield. Therefore, he will play as an attacking midfielder under Chivu. Accordingly, Tuttosport report, Inter plan to go into next season with six attacking options. Martinez, Thuram, Bonny, Pio Esposito, Lookman, and Frattesi. Or else, if they miss out on Lookman, a player with a similar profile to the Atalanta forward. These six players would essentially cover three slots in attack.
