Painswick star gets boost ahead of Wimbledon match
ALICIA BARNETT will be playing in the mixed doubles with last year's partner Marcus Willis, it can be revealed.
The Painswick tennis ace is due to play later today, Wednesday, in the women's doubles first round.
Today's mixed doubles draw means that Barnett will take to the court with the same player as last year - fellow Brit Marcus Willis who who memorably took on Roger Federer in a singles match in 2016 at Wimbledon.
Barnett and Willis bowed out at the quarter-final stage last year, but not before some very entertaining matches.
The mixed doubles are due to start on Sunday, July 7 with the British pair taking on Mexico's Santiago Gonzalez and Tereza Mihalikova from Slovakia.
