Louth father-of-three Saul McElwain killed in tragic accident remembered as 'absolute gentleman and hard worker'

The close knit community on the Cooley peninsula have been rallying around his family and remembering the 40 year-old as 'an absolute gentleman would do anything for you'. EPSO marks the start of an exciting new summer festival for Dundalk
Margaret Roddy The Argus Today at 02:00 A new summer arts festival for Dundalk is being given a 'soft launch' this year as the town's popular festival built around murals is being expanded to take in a host of other events. EPSO will run for eight days from Saturday June 7 and will build on the achievements of the SEEK festival over the past six years, with even bigger plans for 2026.

Family friendly events helps Louth farm to diversify and add to agricultural income
Corderry Fruit Farm hosting charity orchard walk this Sunday, May 11 When the Redmond family opened their orchard at Corderry Fruit Farm in Co Louth for a blossom walk in of the Irish Red Cross Ukraine Fund back in 2022 they little imagined that it would be the start of a successful enterprise on the family farm. Since then they have opened the farm for a series of family friendly seasonal events including around picking your own fruit, pumpkin picking, and for the first time this year, an Easter Trail, with something special already in the pipeline for Christmas.
