'I'm heading out on a cruise': Sherwood Park woman wins $1 million on Lotto 6-49
Marilyn Bremner will soon have a girls' trip on her schedule.
The Sherwood Park woman is the latest Lotto 6-49 million-dollar guaranteed prize winner after matching the Nov. 27 Gold Ball Draw selection.
'I'm going to pay off my home and car, and then I'm heading out on a cruise!,' said Bremner in a news release Monday.
'My girlfriends and I all love to travel together and we're excited for this upcoming trip.'
Bremner said she was in complete disbelief when she discovered her win at a Save-On-Foods in Sherwood Park.
'The cashier told me I had won a million (dollars), and I began shaking,' said Bremner.
'I had to call a friend to pick me up!'
Bremner called her daughter to let her know about her newfound windfall, and she said her daughter was thrilled once she realized it was good news that her mom was sharing.
'I went to call my daughter and said I had something to tell her,' said Bremner.
'I think I scared her a little.'
