Bureau of Meteorology issues marine wind warning for the entire SA coastline, including parts of Adelaide and the Spencer Gulf
South Australia's coastline has been hit by strong winds on Monday, as the weather bureau issued a warning with scattered showers also moving across the state.
At 10.30am, the Bureau of Meteorology issued a marine wind warning for the entire SA coastline, including parts of Adelaide and the Spencer Gulf.
The BOM said a front and trough moving through SA was bringing bands of low to mid level cloud ahead into the central parts of the state and across to western Victoria.
Scattered low to mid level cloud flows onto the coast with embedded showers and thunderstorms were also expected.
A gale wind warning was issued for the Far West Coast, Upper West Coast, Lower West Coast, Central Coast, South Central Coast and Lower South East Coast.
Meanwhile, a strong wind warning has been issued for Adelaide Metropolitan Waters, Spencer Gulf, Gulf St Vincent, Investigator Strait and Upper South East Coast.
