What will it take for Cornell to win a National Championship?
SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Cornell men's lacrosse has the opportunity to take home the program's first National Championship since 1977, but first they have to get through a Maryland powerhouse.
After making it to the title game in 2022 and falling to the Terrapins, the Big Red is ready for the challenge. Last time these two teams met on Memorial Day, Maryland took the 9-7 win and completed an undefeated season.
Cornell and Maryland take the field for the trophy Monday, May 25th at 1 p.m. at Gillette Stadium.
