Trump's Crude Dating Joke On Howard Stern Comes Back To Haunt Him

A 2006 audio clip of Donald Trump quipping about his dating 'age limit' has resurfaced as the controversy around the investigation into Jeffrey Epstein reaches new heights. During the Howard Stern interview, the future president was asked about sleeping with younger women ― and just how low he might go. When Stern asked Trump if he 'could now be banging 24-year-olds,' Trump said he'd 'have no problem.' Things got a little weird after co-host Robin Quivers asked Trump if he had 'an age limit.' Trump fumbled a bit at the response. 'If I— No, no, I have no age— I mean, I have an age li—' Trump said, while Quivers asked him 'the upper bracket' of his limit. Trump managed to bring in another sex scandal, referring to former Rep. Mark Foley, a Florida Republican who was forced to step down in 2006 after multiple incidents of sending lurid instant messages to young male congressional pages. 'I don't want to be like Congressman Foley, with, you know, 12-year-olds,' he said. FLASHBACKStern: 'Do you think you could now be banging 24-year-olds?'Trump: 'Oh, absolutely!'Quivers: 'Do you have an age limit?'Trump: 'If I- No, no, I have no age…I don't want to be like Congressman Foley, with, you know, 12-year-olds.' — Republicans against Trump (@RpsAgainstTrump) July 21, 2025 Trump made the crude comments after being egged on by Stern and Quivers, and it came back to bite him on X, as some people took Trump's reference to Foley as him saying he wouldn't go younger than 12 ― and not as a criticism of Foley's actions. Still, making creepy comments about young women isn't exactly out of left field for Trump, who famously told Stern all sorts of cringy things related to young women, including his daughter, Ivanka Trump. Back in 2004, Trump told Stern it was OK to refer to Ivanka as 'a piece of ass' while talking with him, and admitted to promising her in 1999, when she was 17, that he'd never date a girl younger than her. The 19-year-old Stern clip resurfaced days after the heads of the Department of Justice and FBI declared there was no client list nor evidence that Epstein, Trump's old friend, was murdered in jail. Since both departments had previously hyped the release of the so-called Epstein files, many MAGA followers felt duped, especially after Trump insulted the people for wanting to see the files. But that has only caused more stories linking Trump with Epstein, such as a Wall Street Journal report published last week that said Trump wrote a bawdy birthday message to Epstein in 2003, while The New York Times reported on Saturday that Trump held a calendar girls competition at Mar-a-Lago in 1993 — with Epstein as the only guest. NT Parks' safety reminder after second Larapinta Trail hiker rescued in one week

Northern Territory Parks is reminding hikers to carry personal location devices and be well prepared when they head into the outback after a man was rescued from the Larapinta Trail in central Australia this week. Perth resident Mark Foley was walking the breathtaking track through the West MacDonnell Ranges/Tjoritja National Park west of Alice Springs when he started to feel unwell. "I had a skin sore, which one of the guys was fixing up and I all of a sudden felt very dizzy," the 62-year-old said. Mr Foley and his friends were well prepared and one of them used a device to send out the alarm. A few hours later, Mr Foley was airlifted to Alice Springs Hospital, where he received treatment for infection and dehydration. Senior director for Parks and Wildlife Operations Chris Day said the incident was the second rescue of a hiker from the Larapinta Trail that week. "It starts well before you get on the walk, that's the key. It's planning and preparation," the Parks ranger of 44 years said. Mr Day recommended all hikers or people adventuring into the outback carry a personal locator beacon (PLB) so rescuers could easily find them in an emergency. "Number one is that communication device, the personal locator beacon, or increasingly these days these messaging devices, which both have the ability to raise an alarm," he said. Source: Northern Territory Parks After a three-day stint resting in Alice Springs, Mr Foley was given the all clear by doctors to return to the trail. "I rejoined the trip at Standley Chasm," he said. Mr Foley said the experience had not deterred him from future hikes, but he was grateful his group was carrying a location and communication device. "It's just so essential," he said.

EirGrid paid former boss Mark Foley €347,000 last year after he stepped down as court case loomed

EirGrid paid former chief executive Mark Foley more than €347,000 last year, when he resigned from the national grid company following a car crash that led to a prosecution, figures show. Judge Anne Watkin dismissed a District Court case against Mr Foley for drink-driving in October, after ruling that a blood test showing him to have been four times over the alcohol limit could not be admitted as evidence. Mr Foley resigned as chief executive on April 12th last year, days before his case was first mentioned before Dún Laoghaire District Court on April 16th. EirGrid's annual report shows that the State company paid him €347,076 in total in 2024, including notice payments and pension contributions. READ MORE That included a basic salary to that date of €135,000, plus a €173,076 notice payment on his resignation, along with pension contributions of €32,000 and benefits of €7,000. 'On April 12th 2024 Mr Foley gave notice in accordance with the terms of his contract of his decision to retire as chief executive,' the report states. 'Payments were made to Mr Foley in lieu of notice and accrued holidays in accordance with the terms of his contract of employment to the total of €173,076,' it notes. EirGrid's financial year covers the 12 months to the end of September. Mr Foley's basic pay for 2024 of €134,000 was less than the €234,000 that he received in 2023, when he served for a full year. His 2024 pension contribution of €32,000 also trailed the previous year's payment of €66,000. EirGrid paid its chairman, Brendan Touhey, €21,600 in fees while board members who served for the full financial year received €12,600 each. Will rent reform make building apartments viable? Listen | 40:12 Martin Corrigan, EirGrid's chief governance officer, stepped into the company's top post on an interim basis in April last year while the board sought a successor to Mr Foley. As he was not an executive director, the company's annual report does not include details of his pay. Cathal Marley took over as chief executive in April, joining from fellow State utility Gas Networks Ireland, where he had held the same role. The Government last year approved a €50,000 boost to the annual salary for the top job at EirGrid, bringing basic pay to €300,000. The move followed representations from former minister for the Environment Eamon Ryan. EirGrid will publish details of Mr Marley's pay and benefits in next year's annual report. The State company runs the national grid in the Republic, and owns the North's grid company, System Operator Northern Ireland. The group posted a €10 million profit last year and paid the State a €4 million dividend.

BART saw highest Saturday ridership since pre-pandemic due to major San Francisco events

BART last weekend had its highest ridership day for a Saturday since before the COVID-19 pandemic thanks to crowds coming into San Francisco for NBA All-Star Weekend events and the Chinese New Year Parade, among other activities in the region. There were 139,475 riders Saturday, eclipsing the record of 123,636 riders set last February on the day of the 2024 Chinese New Year Parade and an unofficial fan fest for the final season of the Oakland A's baseball team playing in the Bay Area before moving to Sacramento. We had our highest Saturday ridership since the pandemic this past weekend! Between the Chinese New Year Parade and NBA All-Star Weekend Saturday we had 139,475 exits across the system. Highest ridership stations: Powell: 20K exits Montgomery: 14K Embarcadero: 11K — BART (@SFBART) February 18, 2025 In a social media post, the transit agency said 20,000 riders exited at Powell Street, where there were a number of pop-up shops and other NBA All-Star activities in addition to the parade, with another 14,000 exiting at Montgomery Street and 11,000 exiting at Embarcadero. BART officials said there were additional and longer trains running Saturday during the busiest periods to carry crowds coming to and going from events related to the NBA All-Star Weekend, the Chinese New Year Parade, and other attractions like plays at local theaters. "We're grateful so many people chose BART for their travel Saturday," BART board president Mark Foley said in a statement. "I think it's proof the Bay Area relies on BART for more than getting to work or school -- it's the go-to when people want to get out and have fun without the hassle of driving."
