Now that the Boston Celtics sale is official, with the CT Sun stay in New England?
The Boston Celtics have officially traded hands with the NBA voting unanimously to approve the sale of the team to Bill Chisholm, but the sale of the WNBA's Connecticut Sun is murkier than ever -- and Chisholm is not the only current or former Celtics owner entangled in the mess behind a push to keep the ball club in New England.
Former Boston minority owner Steve Pagliuca tried to buy the Sun to move them to the city his former team calls home, but the WNBA pushed back in a very public manner, and now it is not clear if the Sun will move to another market entirely instead, to Hartford under a group led by former Milwaukee Bucks owner Mark Lasry, or if the team will end up headed to Boston via expansion (under Chisholm) in the future, or Pagliuca in the present.
To get a better idea of what is going on with all of this debacle, the hosts of "Havlicek Stole the Pod" linked up with SB Nation's Noa Dalzell to talk it over. Check it out below!
