United Airlines elevates in-flight entertainment with Apple TV+
United Airlines passengers. The airline has just elevated its entertainment offering.
You can now stream Apple TV+ shows while flying to your destination.
Whether it's the award-winning shows such as Severance, Shrinking, Ted Lasso, Slow Horses, or Silo, one thing is guaranteed: boredom is not an option.
Already, the airline offers fresh new entertainment content every month, and this addition has elevated entertainment to a new level.
"Apple creates groundbreaking original series, and United travelers are going to love watching fan-favorite Apple Originals for free on their next flight," said Mark Muren, United's Managing Director of Product, Identity and Loyalty.
"We're setting a new standard for a premium inflight experience, and our first-of-its-kind collaboration with Apple TV+ gives fliers more high-quality content options on the latest high-definition seatback screens," Mark adds.
The airline will add The Morning Show and Bad Sisters in September. It will continue adding new seasons and content each month, including over 250 TV episodes featuring documentaries and films.
All the content is free on United's seatback screens and in the United app.
The exciting news comes after United invested in the seatback experience, including installing seatback screens in every seat. The airline recently improved its interior with huge, Bluetooth-enabled, 27-inch, 4K OLED seatback screens.
So whether you are flying from the USA, Accra, Lagos, Cape Town, Dakar, Marrakesh, or Johannesburg, these additions will make your trip more comfortable and enjoyable.
