The Marriot Hotel in Kochi turned into a star-studded stage on Friday as actors from the Malayalam film industry gathered to elect AMMA's new leadership for the 2025–2028 term. The much-anticipated election finally unfolded, offering artists not just a chance to vote, but also to reconnect. Hundreds of reporters, fans and YouTubers also thronged the venue with their cams on rat-a-tat mode. Hotel valet driver charged with stealing SUV
ST. LOUIS – A traffic stop for speeding led to the arrest of a valet accused of stealing a hotel guest's vehicle. According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the theft happened on the March 22 at the Marriot Hotel in downtown. During the overnight hours, Florissant police pulled over a Dodge Durango for speeding. Officers discovered the vehicle had been reported stolen and took the driver, Arthur L. Jackson III, 43, into custody. Rapper GloRilla ends St. Louis show early after several fights break out St. Louis police learned Jackson had been working earlier that night as a valet at the hotel and had access to the guest's car keys. The St. Louis Circuit Attorney's Office charged Jackson with stealing a motor vehicle. The judge released Jackson on a personal recognizance bond, with stipulations that Jackson must make weekly call-ins before trial, and he cannot drive any vehicles.
