Countdown is on for Marshall Islands first ever international soccer fixture
The names of the players who will represent Marshall Islands in their first ever international soccer game have been released, and the country is a matter of days away from shedding its self-styled title of the only country on earth without an national team.
It's a project that's been years in the making, but now finally a men's team representing the Marshalls is set to take to the field in the US state of Arkansas on August 14th, where they'll play the US Virgin Islands.
There will be a second game two days later against the Turks and Caicos Islands.
And now the players who make up the inaugural Marshalls squad know who they are, there are some very excited young men in the Marshallese communities at home and abroad.
