ClearVue secures $80,000 first sale of new greenhouse technology
ClearVue Technologies has chalked up another run on the board by securing its first commercial agri-tech sale to install its greenhouse ground-source heat-exchange technology. The deal is worth $80,000. The sale was achieved through ClearVue's wholly owned Israeli subsidiary Opticrop, which ClearVue formed last year to acquire the intellectual property and assets of ROOTS Sustainable Agricultural Technologies. ROOTS was an Israeli-based protected-cropping agriculture technology supplier formerly listed on the ASX. Its award-winning assets include Root Zone Temperature Optimization and Irrigation by Condensation technologies, which the company developed to enhance plant growth and productivity. The technology also optimises water use, using stand-alone irrigation systems that extract water from humidity. 'This first sale for OptiCrop is a significant milestone for our ag-tech division and demonstrates early commercial traction in the protected cropping space.' ClearVue Technologies Global chief executive officer Martin Deil Under the deal, OptiCrop's proprietary ground-source heat-exchange cooling solution will be installed at a one-acre greenhouse being constructed by a global irrigation and greenhouse provider. The system's cooling coils are designed to optimise the temperatures of nutrient fluids that supply elevated plant gutters across the greenhouse for improved plant growth and energy efficiency. ClearVue Technologies Global chief executive officer Martin Deil said: 'This first sale for OptiCrop is a significant milestone for our ag-tech division and demonstrates early commercial traction in the protected cropping space. It validates our strategic direction following the acquisition of ROOTS and underlines the strong market potential for integrated solar greenhouses and sustainable climate-control solutions.' ClearVue's focus has for some time been strongly directed towards agricultural greenhouse design, employing its proprietary solar photovoltaic glass technologies to provide and support other optimal greenhouse solutions.

ClearVue signs NZ distributor for solar glass
ClearVue Technologies has appointed leading New Zealand glass manufacturer Viridian Glass, to continue the company's solar glass sales push into the Asia Pacific region. The ASX listed company has struck a five-year manufacturing and distribution agreement that will enable Viridian to exclusively manufacture the range of ClearVue smart solar glazing products. Viridian will also pick up distribution rights for the products within the island nation. The expansion into the NZ market strengthens the company's push into the Asia Pacific region and will meet the growing demand for energy-efficient building materials. While ClearVue is developing a range of building products, its core innovation is to turn window glass into a solar generating panel. 'This agreement represents a significant step in expanding ClearVue's presence in the region.' Viridian is the latest industry player to join a growing pipeline of strategic partners, which includes recently-appointed Sinrok Solar Energy in South Korea. ClearVue's agreement with Sinrok is expected to drive sales of its smart solar glazing products to South Korea's building, construction and greenhouse sectors. The company is adopting a two-prong approach for its entry into South Korea, one of Asia's leading renewable energy-conscious nations.

ClearVue to showcase solar glass tech in Tattersalls upgrade
The old and new will come together in the heart of Sydney's CBD after ClearVue Technologies secured a supply contract for the installation of its integrated photovoltaic technology as part of a $308M upgrade of the historic Tattersalls Club in Sydney. The company's BIPV (building integrated photo-voltaic) solar feature glass will form a key part of the $600,000 roof section for the project which will be its first installation of a ClearVue product on a high-rise building and its first application in Sydney's CBD. The Tattersalls redevelopment is designed to restore and refresh the 126 year-old building and ClearVue's involvement represents a powerful endorsement of the company's innovative technologies. The BIPV installation will deliver solar power-generating glass roofing to the upper terrace area of the refurbished building. 'ClearVue's solar façade solutions are vital for achieving top energy efficiency performance and a 6 Star NABERS rating for this project...' ClearVue Technologies global CEO Martin Deil The glazed area has been designed to provide aesthetically pleasing pure-black feature glass across the roof area of the terraces between the 44th to 51st floors of the building and to merge seamlessly with other non-solar architectural features. The installation is being undertaken by SRG Global's curtain wall façades team, acting for Richard Crookes Constructions. SRG Global is an ASX-listed diversified infrastructure services company headquartered in Perth, Western Australia. ClearVue Technologies global CEO Martin Deil said: 'We are proud to be a part of this iconic project in Sydney for the City Tattersalls Club building. ClearVue's solar façade solutions are vital for achieving top energy efficiency performance and a 6 Star NABERS rating for this project. The NABERS (National Australian Built Environment Rating System) provides standard lists of efficiency objectives and employs rating calculators to measure the environmental performance of buildings, tenancies, and homes in Australia.
