The actor, reprising his role as the friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man, was spotted in his motion-detection outfit while filming in Glasgow, Scotland.
Marvel fans rejoice! As Tom Holland has finally started the shooting for his highly anticipated action thriller, Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The film is a part of Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 6 and is reportedly set before the events of the much-awaited Avengers: Doomsday.
As the excitement among the fans for Tom's superhero project is at an all-time high, several behind-the-scenes pictures from the sets of the film have now surfaced on social media.

The actor, reprising his role as the friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man, was spotted in his motion-detection outfit while filming in Glasgow, Scotland, which was turned into New York City. Several pictures from the production sets show the building decorated with American flags, yellow NYC cabs, police cars and other significant aesthetics that helped recreate Manhattan.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day Villain
Other pictures also hinted at who will be playing the negative lead in the upcoming Spider-Man franchise. Eagle-eyed fans spotted what appeared to be a vehicle with the Inner Demons logo on it. The pics hinted that Spidey could be facing off against the new villains in the next movie.
Not just this, other videos also showed an armoured truck moving into the streets for the shoot. The video has already left viewers speculating about all the action coming up in the film.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day Shooting Schedule
According to The Sun, the makers had intended to film major scenes in Liverpool. However, following the fatal May 26 parade crash in the city, which injured 109 people, the production respectfully chose to relocate.
Filming in Glasgow might result in road closures by the local authorities to accommodate the large-scale production. Residents and fans can expect increased activity and probable sightings of superheroes in the city core.
The latest instalment of the Spider-Man franchise will bring back key cast members, including Zendaya as Peter Parker's girlfriend, M.J. Jones-Watson, and Jacob Batalon as his best friend, Ned Leeds. Apart from them, other actors expected to appear in the film include Jon Bernthal as the Punisher and Liza Colón-Zayas.
It is slated to hit the big screens on July 31, 2026.
