e& UAE has announced the launch of autonomous drones for cell tower inspections, powered by artificial intelligence (AI). This move marks a major step in modernizing telecom infrastructure across the UAE. The new system combines AI, real-time data analytics, and autonomous flight. It enables faster, safer, and more sustainable inspections. Each drone operates remotely, with flights monitored in real time from the Drones Operations Centre. This centre was launched in partnership with the UAE Cyber Security Council and the General Civil Aviation Authority.
