Al Awabi Charity Team launches donations platform

AL AWABI: The electronic donations platform for Al Awabi Charity Team was officially launched on Monday in Al Awabi, Al Batinah South Governorate. Al Awabi Charity Team is an affiliate of the Ministry of Social Development, and the Zakat Committee of the wilayat which is affiliated to the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs. The event was held under the auspices of Eng Masoud bin Said al Hashmi, Governor of Al Batinah South, in the presence of several officials from various government entities. Sultan bin Said al Rawahi, Head of Al Awabi Charity Team, stated that the platform aims to facilitate the donation process for citizens and residents, enhancing support for charitable initiatives carried out by the team and the Zakat Committee. He emphasised that the platform will contribute to delivering aid to beneficiaries more efficiently and transparently, reflecting the spirit of solidarity and cooperation within Omani society. — ONA
