Ruben Amorim's Manchester United side are back in action this afternoon (Manchester United via Getty Imag) The campaign is not over for Manchester United just yet as they face ASEAN All-Stars this afternoon in the first of two in the first post-season friendlies. Man United signed off their Premier League season at the weekend with a 2-0 win at home to Aston Villa in a result that was enough for a 15th-placed finish by virtue of a superior goal difference to Wolves. Advertisement Though before the players can head off for international duty or recharge for an important 2025/26 campaign, they are in Asia for games against ASEAN All-Stars and then the Hong Kong national team on Friday. A 32-man squad flew out on Sunday, including the likes of captain Bruno Fernandes, Joshua Zirkzee, Andre Onana, Amad Diallo, Casemiro and Alejandro Garnancho despite speculation surrounding his future. Head coach Ruben Amorim has called on his side to put on a show for the club's Malaysian supporters. He said: "First of all, every game we play, we have a big responsibility because all our fans are watching," said Amorim. "We want to respect all of this kindness, so we want to have a good performance." How to watch ASEAN All-Stars vs Manchester United TV channel: In the UK, the game will be televised live on MUTV, with coverage starting at 12.45pm BST ahead of a 1.45pm kick-off. Man Utd 4 Athletic Bilbao 1 (7-1 agg): Red Devils survive scare to stay undefeated in Europe and set up Spurs final
JUST when Athletic Bilbao looked like they might climb the mountain – up steps Mason Mount. The England ace climbed off the bench just after the hour when the impossible comeback looked on for the visitors. 8 Mason Mount reminded fans of his ability with two quality goals Credit: PA 8 The midfielder cupped his ear after scoring the equaliser Credit: Getty 8 Mount swivelled before curling the ball into the bottom corner Credit: Shutterstock Editorial 8 Casemiro's header put Man Utd in front on the night Credit: Reuters 8 Rasmus Hojlund copied Mo Salah's celebration after scoring Credit: EPA 8 Mount scored a spectacular effort from close to the halfway line Credit: Getty He levelled with a classy goal within 10 minutes – and in stoppage time he scored a stunner with the Bilbao keeper stranded. In between times Casemiro – again – and even Rasmus Hojlund got on the scoresheet as United won comfortably in the end. They never do it the easy way here though – and for a while the home fans were sweating. A total of 133 teams have won the away leg of a tie in this competition by three or more goals and all of them have gone through. The only exception was when Olimpiacos turned around such a deficit last year – but the return leg of their tie against Maccabi Tel Aviv was played on a neutral ground. Despite losing eight of 17 home matches in the Prem this season, United had been beaten in just one of their last 30 Europa League ties at Old Trafford. So it looked a tall order for Ernesto Valverde's side, who arrived without four of their most high profile players. Brothers Nico and Inaki Williams both missed out with injury along with top scorer Oihan Sancet. Most read in Europa League MatchDay Live 8 8 Meanwhile defensive lynchpin Dani Vivian was suspended – following his controversial sending off in the first leg. An early goal would have been ideal for United to settle any nerves – but there were plenty both on and off the pitch as there was little sign of one. 'He'll be fuming with that,' says Wayne Rooney after mistaking Cristiano Ronaldo for former Man Utd team-mate At the other end, Alex Berenguer had an early sight of goal but curled his effort over the bar. Skipper Bruno Fernandes played Alejandro Garnacho through but Julen Agirrezabala raced off his line to stop him. But it had been a disjointed start from the home side – such a contrast to their performance in the San Mames a week ago. Berenguer – who caught the eye in the first leg before he was sacrificed in the reshfuffle following the red card – curled another effort wide. Patrick Dorgu went down under a tackle by Andoni Gorosabei but the German referee waved away the appeals and the VAR agreed after a brief check. The first leg hinged on a penalty and red card which was given after a lengthy review but there was never any danger of this one being given. With a three goal lead still intact, there was no panic about the way United were playing – however out of nowhere the visitors took the lead on the half hour. Harry Maguire missed header and then passed it to Alvaro Djalo whose shot was blocked but it dropped nicely to Mikel Jaureguizar The 21-year-old midfielder still had plenty to do but curled a 20 yard shot into the top corner, giving Andre Onana no chance. It was only his third senior goal – maybe he should try luck more often if that's what he can do. As for Maguire, he has been the unlikely hero of United's Europa League run from an attacking point of view – maybe it has gone to his head. It gave the outstanding visiting support fresh hope – a final in their own stadium was the dream and it was flickering again. Even so, United should have extinguished that before the break. Dorgu stroked a delightful pass through the middle which Garnacho ran onto and raced clear – before lifting his shot over the keeper but the wrong side of the post. Ruben Amorim's job at the break was to keep his players calm. He had warned in the build up that this team had a tendency to 'lose their minds'. And in the opening stages of the second half it looked like they had done with Athletic in complete control. All that was missing was a killer pass as the home side struggled to get out of their own half. Amorim made a triple sub just after the hour in a bid to change the course of the game – and one of them, Amad Diallo immediatley showed a bit more intent. But there was another scare as Unai Gomez sent a header right across the face of goal and wide of the far post. However it was another of Amorim's changes who finally settled it as Mount turned onto Leny Yoro pass before curling home. It was their first shot on target of the night – and they hardly deserved to be level – but the Stretford End didn't care. Casemiro looped a header home from Fernandes to put the result beyond doubt. Hojlund tapped in after Diallo had got to the byline and squared for him. Read more on the Irish Sun And in stoppage time, with Agireezabala stranded, Mount showed great composure to chip in from about 45 yards into an empty net. What a night it turned out to be.

Bournemouth 1 Man Utd 1: Hojlund pokes home 96th-min equaliser as Red Devils finally snatch point against 10-man hosts

Brighton 3 West Ham 2: Baleba screamer snatches dramatic last-gasp win after hosts trailed 2-1 with just MINUTE to play
CARLOS BALEBA last-gasp 30-yard rocket heaped more misery on Graham Potter who was booed at his old stomping ground. West Ham are now without a win in TWO MONTHS as Baleba won it at the death on 92 minutes to add to Kaoru Mitoma's 89th minute equaliser. 8 8 8 8 8 The Hammers couldn't quite believe their eyes as up to Mitoma's leveller, they had been on the cusp of a precious win after a woeful recent run of form. Tomas Soucek found the net with an 83rd-minute diving header in front of the boisterous Hammers fans, who had been giving ex-Brighton boss Potter jip all game. They had been chanting in support of Niclas Fullkrug and his outburst after the club's woeful loss at struggling Southampton last time out. Fans were singing "The German's right, we're f***ing s***e" and "get the German on the pitch" as they showed their support for Fullkrug. The chants came after an early 12th minute wonder strike from Yasin Ayari which was then cancelled out by Mohammed Kudus on 48 minutes to give the Hammers a glimmer of hope. Ayari looks as though he will be a monster next season and he broke the deadlock with a rocket strike which melted into the top corner like a knife in butter. Alphonse Areola had no hope of stopping the screamer - which no goalkeeper in the world could stop. Brighton were at it again and a pinball machine-like series of passes fell to Matt O'Riley who drilled a low shot but it was scooped up by Areola. MatchDay Live 8 8 Up the other end Bart Vebruggen leapt like a salmon to keep out a bullet header from Tomas Soucek which kissed the woodwork. Brighton looked like they had inflicted more misery on the Hammers when Simon Adingra appeared to have doubled the lead, but it turns out Mats Wieffer was offside in the build up and VAR concurred with referee Darren England's decision. 'Give Fullkrug the manager's job' - West Ham star launches expletive-laden rant at team-mates for 'not playing football' All eyes were on Fullkrug, who came on after the break for James Ward-Prowse following his fiery outburst and subsequent ticking off from Potter in the aftermath. Queue chants of "Big f***ing German, he says what he wants" aimed at the struggling Hammers players. The players took it in their stride though and Jarrod Bowen threaded the ball through a pile of Brighton defenders, to Mohammed Kudus who fired home from the edge of the six-yard box. That was Bowen's 36th assist for the Hammers - no West Ham player has managed more in the Premier League. Fabian Hurzeler was left with his head in his hands over his side's questionable defending. Brighton were knocking on the door as a string of menacing crosses fell into the box, with Ayari nearly slotting home before he lost his footing. Local lad Hinshelwood also had a go, sending a shot dipping and curling just over the crossbar. West Ham hit back though as a pinpoint delivery fell to Soucek who guided the winning header on smack bang in front of a boisterous away end. But it was all square again when Brajan Gruda headed the ball back across the face of goal and Mitoma was there in the six-yard box to nod past Areola. The Seagulls were 2-1 down just moments before but a moment of magic from Baleba put them in front as the ball soared into the top corner, giving Ayari a run for his money. 8
