Five arrested for alleged child sex crimes in St. Tammany and Tangipahoa parishes

ST. TAMMANY PARISH, La. (WGNO) — On Thursday, May 29, the Covington Police Department announced that five men have been arrested for alleged child sex crimes in St. Tammany and Tangipahoa parishes. According to the CPD, the arrests were the result of the Northshore Internet Crimes Taskforce. They targeted people allegedly attempting to solicit minors on online platforms as summer vacation was beginning.
