Mohanlal's biography ‘Mukharagam' set for December release
Mohanlal's biography, titled 'Mukharagam', is set for a December 2025 release. The book on the Malayalam superstar is written by Bhanu Prakash and published by Mathrubhumi Books. Mohanlal posted about the biography on social media on his 65th birthday on May 21, 2025 (Wednesday). Spanning over 1000 pages, the biography is set to cover Mohanlal's illustrious journey in the film industry, starting from his debut Thiranottam (1978) till his latest blockbuster Thudarum. 'On the occasion of my birthday, I want to share this happy news that my biography, titled Mukharagam, is set to be released soon. Writer Bhanu Prakash, who has travelled with me in my long journey of 47 years, has chronicled the different stages of my career,' Mohanalal says in a video. The book is set to cover the early life of the actor in Pathanamthitta apart from talking about his popular films. It will also have behind-the-scene accounts of his noted projects. Mohanlal announces release date of his biography, Mukharagam, on birthday
Malayalam superstar Mohanlal is celebrating his 65th birthday on Wednesday. To mark the special occasion, the actor announced the release date of his biography, Mukharagam, which has been in the works since 2019. The biography, written by Bhanu Prakash, will chronicle the 47-year journey of the actor in the world of will release on Christmas in 2025. For the unaware, the date marks Mohanlal's 47th year in the video, the actor said, "Dear all, on this birthday of mine, I am delighted to share some wonderful news with you. My biography, written by Bhanu Prakash and published by Mathrubhumi Books under the title 'Mukharagam', is all set to release. The foreword has been written by one of Malayalam's most beloved writers, MT Vasudevan Nair."'Mukharagam' will give us an insight into Mohanlal's career. "This book captures various phases of my acting career spanning 47 years. Mohanlal turns 65: Thudarum star drops BIG update on his biography titled Mukharagam
Mohanlal celebrates his 65th birthday today, on May 21, 2025. The actor who commands worldwide fame recently elated his fanbase when he announced a major update of his impending biography. Taking to X, the actor dropped a video message where he shared an update of his biography, which has been in the making since 2019. Mohanlal expressed his gratitude to the writer Bhanu Prakash and revealed that the book will be out on December 25, 2025. The volume will be published on December 25, 2025.' For the unversed, the actor had made the first announcement of his biography, Mukharagam, back in 2019 on account of his 59th birthday. The book is expected to cover not only various facets of his over four-decade-long acting career but also several incidents from his personal life that have never been known to the public. A few candid revelations by the actor will also provide insights into the book and give it a new experience for readers. In other news, Mohanlal has been the frontrunner of success courtesy of his two successive hits with L2: Empuraan and Thudarum. Both the films scored huge hits at the box office and went on to carve out indomitable fame.
