Bayern Munich star ‘close' to Celta Vigo switch
La Liga outfit Celta Vigo are closing on a deal for an out-of-favour member of the attacking ranks at German champions Bayern Munich. That's according to market insider Matteo Moretto, who points towards Bryan Zaragoza as the player in question. Wide-man Zaragoza for his part spent this past season plying his trade back in La Liga, on loan. After struggling to make an impression with the aforementioned Bayern Munich following his arrival from Granada, the Spanish international was allowed to return to his home country, linking up with Osasuna for 2024/25. And as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from the media this weekend is anything to go by, then Zaragoza looks highly likely to be plying his trade in La Liga once more next season. As per a report from the aforementioned Matteo Moretto: 'Bryan Zaragoza wants to return to Spain, and the team strongly bidding for him is Celta. Celta have been negotiating for Zaragoza for weeks but the agreement with Bayern Munich regarding the formula has complicated the negotiations. Now the two clubs are close to reaching a resolution.' AC Milan have resumed their talks to sign Valencia midfielder Javi Guerra this summer, reports journalist Matteo Moretto. Milan's pursuit of Guerra was at a standstill after their offer worth €20 million was turned down by the La Liga club. The Rossoneri shifted their focus towards Club Brugge's Ardon Jashari, but their offers haven't matched the Belgian club's valuation. A deal for the Swiss star is on the verge of falling through. Therefore, Milan have revived their interest in Guerra. They are working to secure personal terms with the Spaniard before proceeding with talks with Valencia. They are confident of securing the midfielder's green light due to the lack of a concrete renewal offer from Valencia, something they had promised Guerra's entourage after a positive meeting. Guerra's situation could also interest Premier League giants Manchester United, who have been keeping tabs on him this summer. The Mestalla graduate has stood out for Valencia in their difficult times, rising in stature as one of La Liga's most promising midfield talents. The 22-year-old has featured in 89 games for Che, netting eight goals and four assists. He was also part of the Spanish national team that reached the quarter-finals of the U-21 European Championship last month.
