Sergi Gomez, who spent eight years at Barcelona after joining aged 14, made the sensational allegation during an appearance on Spanish podcast Post United. Gomez, also formerly of Sevilla and Espanyol, lived in an apartment with fellow academy youngsters Icardi, Marc Muniesa and Sergi Roberto. It was during this period that he saw a sight he would never forget. Speaking on the podcast, Gomez said: 'Mauro arrived at La Masía and we were teammates for three or four seasons. During one of those seasons, we shared an apartment. One day, he said to me, "Sergi, come with me to the park next door." 'He was carrying a Y-shaped piece of wood that he had cut the day before, with a rubber band tied to it. He had made a homemade slingshot. According to Gomez, Icardi pointed to a barely visible pigeon and proceeded to take aim and let fly, killing the bird. He then placed it on a fire to cook it. 'He grabbed a rock, stretched the rubber band, and... boom. He brought down the pigeon from a height of 20 or 30 meters,' Gomez added. 'We went back, he plucked its feathers, threaded a wire through it, lit a fire, and ate it in front of me. I remember thinking: "What awaits me if we start like this".' Gomez, however, went on to speak fondly of his former team-mate, saying: 'We lived through a lot together, and if he sees him, he'll know that I hold that in my heart.' Icardi joined Barcelona ahead of the 2008-09 campaign, reportedly turning down interest from several clubs including Arsenal, Liverpool and Valencia. Meanwhile, he could allegedly be entitled to financial support from his wife after their impending divorce - despite earning an estimated £5million per year. The latter has even admitted to having the affair. However, Nara has denied knowing Fazio, has not addressed the Balde situation, and is open about her former relationship with L-Gante, which came amid an informal split from Icardi. After their split, Icardi began his own romance with actress and model China Suarez, with whom he allegedly cheated on Nara while they were still together.

Leroy Sané to Galatasaray a done deal
Fabrizio Romano and Florian Plettenberg report that Leroy Sané (29) to Galatasaray is a done deal. The German winger will leave Bayern Munich for the Turkish champions where he will sign a three-year contract until 2028. Sané – who rejected Bayern Munich's latest contract offer – will fly to Istanbul tonight where he will then undergo a medical with Galatasaray before the transfer is made official. As such, the player won't be a part of the Bayern squad for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup. Advertisement As reported earlier, Sané will earn up to €15m per year at Galatasaray, where he will become a key player alongside players such as Mauro Icardi. The German will become the clubs first new signing of the summer after they made the moves of Ismail Jakobs and Przemyslaw Frankowski permanent. Sané scored 11 goals and provided six assists in 30 Bundesliga appearances last season, his best goalscoring tally in the Bundesliga so far. She participated in the intimate celebration at the hotel. "[She] was recording for MTV in Italy. They sent her a plane ticket, a hotel reservation, and a ticket to the stadium - someone from PSG." Nara took over the duties of her husband's agent, and helped mastermind a loan move from Inter Milan to PSG in 2019. The couple announced they had split in 2022, only to get back together. But last summer, Nara opened up about the end of their relationship, with the pair now heading for divorce. Nara told America TV: "For personal and health reasons, I tried once more, but it didn't work. Let everyone talk. I've saved my silence for the last. "I know how hard endings are and what they cost. There are things on TV and the internet that aren't true, but I accept it as part of the bad and who I am. "I decided to end it, but Mauro and I will still be a family. It wasn't a mistake to try more when there was love. "I regret nothing. These years were the best of my life, but now I must be alone. "There is no villain or third party. Our relationship was always stronger than it seemed from the outside. "My priority has always been my children, and now more than ever. Thank you for your respect." Hakimi began his career at Real Madrid and is the captain of Morocco. He joined PSG in 2021 and has played 168 times for the Ligue 1 giants, scoring 23 goals.
