Admiral Alireza Tangsiri, Commander Of The IRGC Navy: We Will Respond To Any Aggression Against Iranian Ships, And Will Chase Aggressors To The Gulf Of Mexico If Needed – We Are Not The Type Of People Who Turn The Other Cheek
Admiral Alireza Tangsiri, commander of the IRGC Navy, stated in an interview with Mayadeen TV (Lebanon) aired on March 28, 2025, that it is not up to him to decide whether to close the Strait of Hormuz, but he would be the one to implement such a decision. He explained that this would happen if Iran is "deprived of its rights." Tangsiri asserted that Iran is a superpower, and that the world is wide. He mentioned that Trump had issued similar threats before, but they could not stop Iran from exporting oil. He emphasized that Iran would respond in kind to any actions taken against Iranian ships, stating that the Iranian people are not the type to turn the other cheek. He added, "No one can hit us and run away," and further stated that the IRGC Navy would chase any aggressors to the Gulf of Mexico, if necessary. Alireza Tangsiri: "The decision to close the Hormuz Strait is not mine to make. It is the decision of the higher ups, but its implementation is on me. This decision will be made if they deprive us of our rights, and if we see that other ships are passing through. It will have a completely different meaning, and then the appropriate decision will be made, whether to close it or leave it open. As a soldier, I will implement the decision. [...] "We are a superpower and the world is wide. Trump had issued these threats before. They cannot stop us from exporting oil. If our ships are subject to any incident, we will undoubtedly respond in kind. "If they detain our ships, we will detain their ships as well. We will not stand idly by and just watch America or any other country detaining our ships, like Britain did in Gibraltar, while their ships pass freely, whether in or out of the Persian Gulf, or [even] in the oceans. We will respond in kind. We are not the kind of people that turn the other cheek when slapped. No, we are not like that. If we are slapped, we respond with a stronger slap. [...] "No one can hit us and run away. Even if we have to chase them to the Gulf of Mexico, we will do it."

Canadian-Palestinian PFLP Senior Official Khaled Barakat: The Problem Is Not Israel, It Is America; Israel Is Merely Guarding American Interests In The Region; 'America Is The Plague'
Khaled Barakat, a senior official with the PFLP and Masar Badil, said that the resistance in Palestine, Lebanon, and Yemen is directed against America, not Israel, in a March 19, 2025 appearance on Mayadeen TV (Lebanon). He stated: "The problem is America," and he argued that Israel merely functions as a Western colony in the region, serving as a "guard dog" for American interests. Quoting poet Mahmoud Darwish, Barakat declared, "America is the plague, and the plague is America." Khaled Barakat is the founder of Samidoun and a leader with Masar Badil, an organization closely linked with Samidoun; he has been identified by the United States as a leader with the U.S.-designated terrorist organization the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) and Samidoun has been designated a U.S. Specially Designated Global Terrorist organization and a sham charity. Barakat, a Canadian citizen, has been in Beirut, Lebanon, for the past several months since his designation as a terrorist by Canada in October 2024. Barakat's wife, Charlotte Kates, International Coordinator of Samidoun, has been arrested and investigated by Canadian authorities for hates speech in support of U.S. and Canada-designated terrorist organizations. She too has been in Beirut since February 9, 2025. Khaled Barakat: "The resistance in Lebanon, Palestine, and Yemen is against America, not against Israel. If we work under the assumption that the problem is only with Israel, and that this is a Palestinian-Israeli conflict, we will build a vision that is wrong from beginning to end. We need to understand that America, imperialism, and the West are the problem. "This is why, ever since October 7, [Western leaders] have been rushing to Tel Aviv. There has been a pilgrimage to Tel Aviv by these colonialist powers, because this colony suffered a shock. This is their colony. It is the guard dog for American interests in the region. America treats it like its own colony, which it inherited from Britain and France, just like it inherited the oil, and the defeatist, collaborating, and impotent Arab entities. Therefore, America considers Israel to be a strategic asset. It may not benefit from Israel directly, but it uses it to serve its own interests. The problem is America. In the words of our poet, Mahmoud Darwish: 'America is the plague, and the plague is America.'"

Hizbullah Official Nawaf Moussawi: Nasrallah's Assassination and Pager Attack Resulted from Hizbullah's Negligence; This Would Not Have Happened Under Imad Mughniyeh's Watch
In a March 3, 2025, interview on Mayadeen TV (Lebanon), Hizbullah official Nawaf Moussawi criticized the security measures that led to the assassination of Hizbullah leader Hassan Nasrallah and the pager attack. He argued that these incidents were the result of Hizbullah's own shortcomings and negligence, rather than Israeli prowess. Moussawi pointed out that such an event would not have happened while military chief Imad Mughniyeh was still alive, recalling how Mughniyeh had ensured Nasrallah's safety during the 2006 war by constantly moving him, never allowing him to stay in the Dahia. Moussawi also criticized Nasrallah's personal security protocol, highlighting that while visitors were thoroughly checked for buttons and rings, no one had considered inspecting the pagers carried by Hizbullah members.

Hizbullah Official Salman Harb, In Defiance Of Agreement With Israel: We Are Here, South Of The Litani River, Every Destroyed House Boasts A Hizbullah Flag And Bears The Slogan: 'This Was Done By The
Head of Hizbullah media south of the Litani River, Salman Harb, was interviewed by Mayadeen TV (Lebanon) on January 26, 2025, in the village of Tayr Harfa, across from an Israeli military post, south of the Litani river, despite the ceasefire agreement with Israel stipulating that Hizbullah must remain north of it. He said that all the children are carrying Hizbullah flags, and the elderly are carrying posters of Nasrallah. Harb added that every house that was destroyed in the war boasts a Hizbullah flag, poster of Nasrallah, and the slogan: "This was done by the United States of America." Salman Harb: "I am Salman Harb, the head of Hizbullah media south of the Litani River." Interviewer: "South of the Litani! You are here. Great. [...] "One if the main articles [in the agreement with Israel] which the media is focusing on is the one that says that Hizbullah should be [north] of the Litani River. I am now interviewing you across from the Israeli post, south of the Litani, in the border village of Tayr Harfa. Does this mean that Hizbullah is still present south of the Litani? This question is being asked." Harb: "Hizbullah is the salt of the earth in Lebanon, not only in the south. As you can see, every child here has a Hizbullah flag, and all of the elderly are carrying posters of our secretary-general. On every house destroyed by America, Israel, NATO, and the West who ganged up to fight us in order to shatter our determination to support the Palestinian cause and to defend the Lebanese borders – on every destroyed house you can see a Hizbullah flag, a poster of the secretary-general and a slogan that says: 'This was done by the United States of America.'"
