Bolton Wanderers FC special gesture for the town's first citizen

Bolton Wanderers have unveiled two specially dedicated seats in honour of the Mayor and Mayoress of Bolton. The seats are embroidered with the town's coat of arms and were revealed just ahead of the club's final home match of the season against Stevenage. Located inside the Directors' Box in the KIA West Stand, the seats will be reserved for the current and future Mayor and Mayoress of Bolton for all Wanderers' home games. The symbolic gesture highlights the football club's commitment to civic pride and its ongoing connection with local leadership. Have a story? Get in touch at Mayor Cllr Andy Morgan was praised by the club for his support – choosing Bolton Wanderers in the Community as one of his chosen charities. Phil Mason, the club's Chief Operating Officer and Bolton Wanderers in the Community's Chief Executive Officer, said: "We are delighted to further strengthen the connection between the Football Club and our town, including the relationship we hold with the Mayor and Mayoress of Bolton. "It has been a privilege to jobs" target="_blank">work with both the Mayor and Mayoress throughout Andy's Mayoral year, and both have been magnificent supporters of the Club in a number of ways.
