Kuwait youth women's team secures fourth place at West Asia Championship
AMMAN, April 12: The Kuwait youth women's team secured fourth place in the fifth West Asia Championship, held in Aqaba, Jordan, after suffering a 7-1 defeat to Syria in the third-place play-off.
Maysa Behbehani scored the sole goal for Kuwait in the match.
Earlier in the tournament, Kuwait faced tough competition, losing their first-round matches to Jordan 1-0, Syria 6-0, and Palestine 9-0.
