The McLeod County Attorney's Office reported the following: Christopher Charles Carlson, 28, Winsted, appeared in District Court Dec. 21 for sentencing. Carlson previously pleaded guilty to one gross misdemeanor count of interference with an emergency call. Judge Michael Savre placed Carlson on probation for two years. The conditions of probation are that he serve 10 days in the McLeod County Jail, complete a domestic abuse evaluation, follow the recommendations of the evaluation, pay a fine and surcharge of $250, and pay restitution. Curtis Allen Dunham, 26, Glencoe, appeared in District Court Dec. 21 for sentencing. Dunham previously pleaded guilty to one felony count of criminal sexual conduct. Judge Savre stayed the imposition of sentence and placed Dunham on probation for three years. The conditions of probation are that he serve 45 days in the McLeod County Jail, serve 15 days of Sentence to Service work, complete a sex offender treatment program, have no use or possession of alcohol or drugs, and have no contact with the victim or minor females. Ted Rian Monk, 51, New Auburn, appeared in District Court Dec. 21 for sentencing. Monk previously pleaded guilty to one gross misdemeanor count of driving after cancellation after being deemed inimical to the public safety. Judge Savre stayed the imposition of sentence and placed Monk on probation for two years. The conditions of probation are that he serve 45 days in the McLeod County Jail, serve 15 days of Community Work Service, and pay an $85 surcharge. Charles George Jannusch, 62, Glencoe, appeared in District Court Dec. 21 for sentencing. Jannusch previously pleaded guilty to one gross misdemeanor count of criminal sexual conduct. Judge Savre stayed the imposition of sentence and placed Jannusch on probation for two years. The conditions of probation are that he serve 58 days in the McLeod County Jail, complete a chemical dependency and a psychosexual evaluation, follow the recommendations of the evaluations, and pay an $85 surcharge. Justin Earl James Johnson, 28, Hutchinson, appeared in District Court Dec. 21 for sentencing. Johnson previously pleaded guilty to one felony count of domestic assault by strangulation. Judge Savre stayed the imposition of sentence and placed Johnson on probation for three years. The conditions of probation are that he serve 10 days in the McLeod County Jail, serve 30 days of Sentence to Service work or Community Work Service, complete a chemical dependency and a domestic abuse evaluation, follow the recommendations of the evaluations, and pay an $85 surcharge. Phillip James Kirk, 25, Excelsior, appeared in District Court Dec. 21 for sentencing. Kirk previously pleaded guilty to one felony count of assault. Judge Savre ordered Kirk to serve 39 months in prison. Gordon Edward Morrill, 65, Winsted, appeared in District Court Dec. 21 for sentencing. Morrill previously pleaded guilty to one felony count of terroristic threats. Judge Savre stayed the imposition of sentence and placed Morrill on probation for three years. The conditions of probation are that he serve 21 days in the McLeod County Jail, serve 21 days of Sentence to Service work, complete a chemical dependency evaluation, follow the recommendations of the evaluation, have no use or possession of alcohol or drugs, have no possession of firearms, have no contact with the victim, and pay a $900 fine and surcharge. A restitution hearing is scheduled for March 6, 2013. Jacob Luke Becker, 25, Norwood Young America, pleaded guilty Dec. 21 to one misdemeanor count of giving a peace officer a false name and date of birth. Judge Savre placed Becker on probation for one year. The conditions of probation are that he serve 10 days in the McLeod County Jail (may be Sentence to Service work or Community Work Service) and pay a $385 fine and surcharge. Jodi Lynn Schutz, 31, Winsted, appeared in District Court Dec. 28 for sentencing. Schutz previously pleaded guilty to one felony count of theft. Judge Terrence Conkel stayed the imposition of sentence and placed Schutz on probation for three years. The conditions of probation are that the defendant serve one day in the McLeod County Jail, serve 45 days of Sentence to Service work, complete a chemical dependency and a psychological evaluation, follow the recommendations of the evaluations, have no use or possession of alcohol or drugs, and pay an $85 surcharge. Robert Earl Ford, 23, Hutchinson, appeared in District Court Jan. 4 for sentencing. Ford previously pleaded guilty to one count of interference with an emergency call and one count of fleeing a peace officer on foot. Judge Michael Savre placed Ford on probation for one year. The conditions of probation are that he serve 21 days in the McLeod County Jail, serve nine days of Sentence to Service work, and have no use or possession of alcohol or drugs.
